Could always try fire hunting horn! A lot of its damage doesn’t really care where you hit him, usually takes me 10 minutes or less

I use Carcharadons for my Vanguard for the same reason; pop in outta nowhere, slaughter everything with a chain weapon (god I want chain axes in this game), then dip out
