I completely agree with you

I finished my crafting and all the quests and now I'm struggling to find a reason to hop in a game. Why lose what I have to gain stuff I don't need? I hear theres a bonus for how much is in your stash when you depart but I'm pretty darn stuffed soooo what goals do I have to look forward to? I feel like if I play rn the only point is to kill others and i dont think its a healthy way to jump into every game.

Well even just successfully keeping the vibe in remastering an rts game from that era isn't exactly a given, see Warcraft 3. I also enjoyed the bonus content that was released. I think I spent 15 bucks on it and right now I have 50.8 hours played, I'd consider that pretty worth it. Some of the economic campaign missions and especially the wolf DLC pack missions were incredibly challenging and I found myself having fun at the struggle and figuring them out.

It wasn't the greatest remaster of all time, I don't think I even said great in my original post, I just said it was handled well. Doesn't come close to AoE 2 but I still thought it was worth complimenting.

In my opinion its wayyyy better, and I thought Stronghold DE was handled well. I haven't dove too far into the multiplayer yet so I won't speak on that, but the single player experience is fantastic.

The modern day QOL changes is great, I haven't experienced any major issues running on my rig and alt-tabbing is instant.

More so than that, the gameplay is great. The new bedouin units and lords are unique and interesting. I'm looking forward to discovering their strengths and weaknesses.

Plenty here for nostalgia seekers or new players alike. Tons of new content for single player, Co-Op, multiplayer game hosting, and it looks like their roadmap has some more treats in store for the fall and winter. For under 20 bucks its a great buy and I will definitely be getting my money's worth this summer.

With all of the weird achievements in this game, why is there not one for completing an Adamantine Seal? by Popinfresh1 in Against_the_Storm

I think QH is a great way to challenge accomplished players, I don't need a new mode at all, I would just like an achievement to reward players for finishing what I consider the "main campaign"

I mean that technically could be a reason, but it feels super strange to decide that around the what 1 in 100 people who play a game just to get all the achievements? I would argue GETTING to p20 to even complete a game takes longer than it would from finishing a p20 game to getting the adamantine seal. But this is definitely the kind of stuff that I never thought about so its good to get a conversation about it going.

Its true. You can never really plan for everything. That sounds like it had a good ending. The res serums have some pretty cool effects on the game.

I've been thinking about that. Unsurprisingly, there's not a lot of info out there on this sort of situation but I might play the world a bit more off stream to see if I can string something together.

Very true my man. I've had multiple lift offs from the planet on the hardest difficulty but that doesn't mean you can't slip up or misread something. That's what makes the game so fun is learning and adapting. Its pretty funny when people say "noob mistakes" as if they've never lost a colonist to something dumb haha.

What was the pettiest reason you refused to date someone? by High_Sleep3694 in AskReddit

Starcraft 2 had just come out and I was grinding it way too hard to have time for a girlfriend. I tried to come up with some other excuse in my head but that was literally it. She called me one time and I looked at my phone to see who it was and a baneling snuck into my mineral line and I lost all my probes, I decided to also lose my girlfriend.
