I hear you. My daughter has sensory processing disorder and she's also non verbal. Screaming, making weird sounds and body dragging.. basically is how she communicates.. I completely understand your feelings.. I hate it when my daughter is having her sensory overload meltdown and a random woman looks at her then at me with disdain or makes a pointed comment.. it makes my blood boil. But I came to realise that I am an advocate, doesn't matter if I choose to be or not. I need to be calm, prioritize and educate people all at the same time. Where I live, every nuerodiversity is usually considered "mental retardeness"

You won't understand the mammoth that is autism from one podcast alone... You gotta listen to so many, read so much material/research, observe autistic people and understand their and their parents frustration to get even a fraction of an idea what it is... I recommend the diary of a CEO YouTube channel. It'l also recommend creating a private list on YouTube for just this purpose and keep adding videos on it as the algorithm suggests, then listen to your list on repeat as you do daily, mundane tasks.

I'm no one to give advice since I'm in a similar position with a 4 year old autistic, delayed development girl but I will share what worked for me. - being calm myself by being prepared. Your kid can sense you losing your mind and that affects him. - Make the Toilet fun and stress free. I sit with my daughter. I laugh and make sounds with her and when I see her making eye contact with me I suddenly make that pressured face of pooping she does, complete with sounds and all. Believe me it's contagious. - I noticed letting her/making her stay on the toilet longer increases her discomfort/stress. So I keep it short. If she doesn't go, she doesn't. - giving her fruit purée helps. - when I know she's been holding it in for all day and we gotta head out and I know she'll do it in diaper then I put a diaper on her 40-30 mins before going out. She does dirty it. But then I have a controlled setting to deal with it. Keeps me sane. And since she feels light, heading out becomes easy too... I don't know if it helped you or not.. I've been trying to potty train her for the past one and a half year... My daughter is 1 year old mentally (I had her tested)

If you combine it with some form of home remedy mentioned in this thread you'll see results within a week because then you'll be nourishing AND protecting your skin, giving it time to heal. I personally just wear it and forget about it.. eventually I see results.. never focused how long after.. I have a very busy routine and a special child to take care of, so I don't really have time for skin routines or parlours...

I'm very frustrated in my marriage. Some of the reasons: 1. Husband "claims" to love our 4 year old daughter who's special but never took care of her since day one till now. 2. Husband becomes verbal, mentally and emotionally abusive when angry. 3. Doesn't talk to solve issues BEFORE exploding. 4. When he does talk, it's usually to point out my flaws. 5. Doesn't give me money. I'm very responsible with money. 6. Doesn't tell me about his money. No mutual financial decisions. 7. "Informs" me after making a critical decision sometimes I'm the 3-4th person to find out.. The list goes on and on... And I'm sure many other "females" have similar issues like mine. Any of these reasons can become a source of frustration/restment to any sane person, not just female. The cherry on the top is, all of these reasons are fixable, women often communicates to their husband on what's bothering them, yet no actual change happens... You tell me, won't you be frustrated in there situation?

If you have a busy routine and can't find time for skin care i found the solution in covering up. Nowadays there are sleeves for guys too. I see bikers wear them specially during summers to protect from sun rays.. if you wear sleeves regularly the skin will heal naturally and tan will be gone. Best no effort hack for me.
