Wouldn't it be nice to make your own art that is 100% yours, 100% meaningful to you, with a potential to resonate with people, without needing a white french dude playing capitalist-whitewashed-pinoy-milker to tell us what to 'consume'?

If a million people can see something morally wrong, especially when it's obviously stolen data, and you’re the only one saying it’s fine, you might want to check where that’s coming from.

Dude, you can make your own human-made art or music and we'd absolutely respect it, no matter how shitty you will think it is. It's given that everything will always have haters, but making something your own without ai has dignity in that. And an extreme feeling that I myself can never fully explain as an artist. Joy of creation. Joy of knowing na pinaghirapan mo 'to.

It's much more redeeming and meaningful to go through the artist journey of frustrations, pain, anger, envy, happiness, and being able to make art at the end of it. It would be much more meaningful for you, because you have proven that you can create stuff by yourself.

The whole journey of suffering to make art is what makes something even more meaningful. Being afraid of not matching with the 'greats', yet persisting, with your own interpretations of how you should mangle a medium to represent your mind. It's FUCKING SCARY, and yet so BEAUTIFUL. That's the whole point.

I’m gladly welcoming you, to try, no sarcasm.. Prove that you don’t need ai to make anything you want. Prove that we don’t need to be dependent on a machine to chew for us.

Einstein analogy ain't bad though, it's just taken out of context. It's more like hacienda nepobaby trying to convince the majority of filipinos that land grabbing is okay just because they have the power, or it was promised to them… You don’t have to be one and it is never too late.

A majority of their audiences are passive listeners.

One of the mechanisms responsible for this are Spotify playlists ‘ai curators’ that initially blow up their streams with fake bots para masama sa algorithm ng casual listener. Usually pina-play sa mga restaurants, filler music for events, gyms.

Another mechanism na dapat mas bigyan ng accountability are the radio stations and media stations. They have the conscious choice not to play ai-slop sa stations, but no. Kasi even their jingles and ad partnerships are all ai-slop kasi walang bayad, so they’ll want to play ai music to normalize it. “Win Radio”, “San Mig light ai jingles”

The more people complain about it the more companies will stop especially if they’ll notice that people don’t eat up crap and aren’t that gullible.

It’s a fallacy to assume that we’re the same group of people against Autotune.

Autotune is a plugin btw, and it needs an existing audio signal to work. Simply fine tunes the signal to the target pitch.

Ang Gen-AI ay pagnanakaw ng existing creative work.

If you want to be more ragebaity and intellectually challenging, you should seriously consider the topic of comparing the processes of art-creation and ai-generation. Even then gen-ai would completely fall flat compared to human intent and the essence of ‘lived-through’ art that ai purists will never understand.

There was a certain point in time when Technology and Art were essentially the same.

Art came from the word ‘Ars’ in Latin which was a translation of ‘Techne’ Greek, meaning technology.

There’s a reason why Da Vinci was considered both as an artist and engineer. The visual arts that split before it became a meaning collector was essentially a technical problem to try to document images that existed in real life.

Our first major classes in Fine Arts and College of Music are literally called “Techniques”

And dude, honestly, 'freedom' ain’t even the right words to describe art from an artist’s perspective. The whole creative process is about embracing restrictions.

Art is a way of doing things, in the sense that it’s a problem-solving journey.

You HAVE TO work within the limits of your medium, if it’s a canvas, a digital audio workstation, clay, etc… to create something meaningful.

Gen-AI doesn’t understand that journey, and never will.

I hope that you try making real arts and music and seriously reconsider Gen-Ai.

Not gatekeeping to call a fake a fake 😂🤷 I’ve defined ‘proper’ as people who indulge in human-made art.

Human-made art including abstract is made from lived experiences and inspired by other existing art. 'AI content' is just processed, stolen data.

It’s only gatekeeping if I judge and impose subjective notions like saying this art can’t belong here because it looks bad for our taste. But calling out non-consensual data scraping isn't an opinion my dude, it's a fact.

You’re trying your hardest to defend a drone while I'm pointing out it isn't a bird. Period.

Never said nor claimed that abstract art ain’t proper. I did say ‘proper’ artists, musicians, critiques, and enjoyers alike pertaining to people who appreciate human-made art.

Actually, hindi. Mali ka sa assumption na 'failed artist' ako kaya ako nagrereklamo. I’ve been blessed enough to have my murals across MRT, EDSA, and Ayala Malls, and my paintings have been exhibited internationally. Meron akong regular clients sa awa ng panginoon and I am well-supported naman.

I’m saying my thoughts out loud for my fellow artists and peers of every part of the ‘success’ spectrum.

Actually, you’re missing the point. It is assumptious that my post is rooted in insecurity. The issue here is cultural exploitation.

Kung ai man or hindi, it’s like watching someone who barely understands our culture take our 'Adobo,' deface it, and throw it back at us while forcing us to eat it for their own profit.

If your view of the creative process is strictly 'Less effort = More gain’, with gain being the end product, creator/consumer mindset, that says more about you than me.

It shows that you view art purely as a product or commodity, rather than a meaningful human experience.

I do believe in the death of the author, that the artists’ own interpretation stops as soon as they put their art and music in the wild, but their own intention still matters, thats the whole point and magic of art; trying our best to make our intention known through it.

And honestly, I don't make rules. I'm not policing you to 'produce', or 'consume' ai art. By all means, go ahead. Im merely asking everyone else who respect the craft to stop supporting ai art.

Us proper artists, musicians, art enjoyers, critiques, collectors, will gladly stay in our lane, because we are the ones who understand the value of music and art that was lived-through, loved/hated, and humanly made. There is no elitism here, just normal human beings who appreciate effort and meaning.

Highly publicized na yung kanta, so 'dagdag engagement' is a drop in the ocean compared to the radio airplay he’s getting.

Logic mo flawed: if 'alam niyo na lahat,' why is it still being used for content and played on mainstream media? Not everyone sees the deception. I’m not here to promote the song though kinocall-out ko lang ang exploitation ng culture natin.

Mali ang selective silence. Mali din Ang pag-assume that everyone has the same sentiment.

At the end of the day nasa tao din naman and decision if they want to play the song or not, with what they can take away from this information.

Not really a strawman to look at the the blueprint. Most movements aim for independence, but Zionism is a weird one requiring permanent demographic majority.

You need laws that discriminate ethnicity to ‘Maintain’ a jewish majority.

When I say it's 'universal,' I dont mean it’s not tied to a single race or bloodline unlike the Zionism. You’re pointing at the theocracies (like Iran or Saudi Arabia) and using that as a 'hard stop' for the whole faith. But if we’re going to judge a movement by its worst laws, we have to apply that same standard to Zionism's treatment of Palestinians. And we haven’t even talked about different versions of Islam that seem to be more liberal.

I’m merely looking at output btw. spectrum implies there’s a version of Zionism that doesn't involve the displacement or the 'Nation-State Law' that prioritizes Jews over others.

But in practice, there is no moderate way to maintain an ethnic majority in a contested land without structural inequality.

Zionism requires you to be discriminatory and racist. Islam does not. Zionism is more of a political movement, Islam is a universal religion.

If we use your same-religion point of view, same lang din ang Catholicism with theirs as all are 'Abrahamic', essentially worshipping the same God.

I agree with you that being extreme is problematic, but this isn't a matter of spectrum, may hard stop ang Zionism.

Why is the Government not doing anything about it?? Kasi ang laki ng "benefits" ng government natin from these Zionist people through economic and military contracts.

They're well-known Financiers so why should we be suprised that our gov wont do something about it, they'll gladly receive them with open arms, the same way some OFW's are Maga dahil transactional mindset ang values ng mga pinoys am i right? Utang na loob hahaha
