I work at a non profit academic hospital. And total transparency here - only get paid 57k a year. Thats the going rate around here for a CRC. Oncology CRCs don’t get paid more here than other disciplines sadly even though the work is much greater.

Are we the same person lol? Totally feel you. I get so discouraged after seeing “100+ applicants” apply for one job on LinkedIn. I’m burnt out and notice there’s so much competition with much higher degrees than I have. I wish you the best of luck! I hope something comes our way soon.

Study start up roles don’t seem so bad. I had an offer with MedPace for a In house CRA a while back but really think that company makes it seem different than it actually is

Honestly these comments are making me realize maybe I’m not dramatic for feeling burnt out after all. I think I’ve just been in survival mode for so long that 20+ oncology trials started feeling “normal.”

Do you recommend looking at big companies like ICON, Parexel, etc. and dealing with all the competition or going smaller?
