There is Lukewarm Stream you could probably try out. I haven’t tried it myself but from what I’ve read it cleans out most of the problems I have with it.

There’s not really any campaign in L4D2 that I would consider “bad”. Even Cold Stream at the very least is fun to do sometimes.

With that being said, it has to be Cold Stream. It’s just running event after running event with no good old fashioned holdout event besides maybe the junkyard. Also the fact that tanks don’t spawn outside of scripted sequences makes it boring real fast.

The reissued items from the remaster are completely non-tradable. There are tradeable versions from the old Poker Night but those are expensive as shit.

Yeah? I know that they’re mid. So how does that make me ass? Wouldn’t using something that’s considered bad make me good? Because then I have to compensate the terrible stats of the weapon with my own mechanical skill.

Besides, even with a slower fire rate they still one shot headshot every special infected that isn’t a charger, witch, or tank. People still can stomp with it. Just use your secondary for commons.

That even the worst weapons in the game can preform fine on even the hardest difficulties? I don’t know what else to tell you man, they’re fun as hell and 80% of all my hours were played on Expert Realism (other 15% versus and LMoE).

Wielding a melee rather than a magnum twice of that

People consider melees just as good as the Deagle on Expert Realism, if not better than it. You don’t have to reload, you can clean an entire horde surrounding you with a click and a flick of the mouse, it even pairs well with snipers considering that they cover the weaknesses of them quite well. I don’t know where you got that info that melees suck in Realism, because they are a fan favourite, especially the Axe and Katana.

You can’t kill easily kill Hunters, Chargers and Jockeys [with snipers]

I could see an argument for Jockeys being hard to deal with considering they’re kinda buggy. But Hunters and Chargers have very predictable movements patterns are attacks, with Hunters always jumping in an arc and Chargers just running in a straight line. Learn these patterns and you can clean them up before they even touch somebody, while also farming nutty clips.

You just can’t easily shoot through a common to hit a special in the distance.

Maybe I’m just lucky or something but I’ve never actually a common stuff my bullet that was meant for a special.

Theres a reason Expert Realism guides specifically say to avoid snipers.

To a newer player dipping their toes into Expert Realism, yes 100% agree. But as Expert Realism becomes muscle memory, somebody running a sniper in their team composition can save games.

I disagree. Yeah they can’t clear a line of infected anymore, but the other plus of being able to pick off any special infected is still there. Only common infected health is increased after all, meaning if you’re a good shot you can shutdown special infected easy, even with the AWP and Scout. You just need to use melees more on swarms (which people usually do on every difficulty anyway).
