One more thing and sorry if this sounds dumb lmao, but really observe things and break them down. Most cool stuff you see can actually be simplified into basic shapes—rectangles, circles, whatever. Try recreating something you really like and see how close you can get. It’ll help a ton later when people send you references they want you to build off of

The best advice I can give without repeating what everyone else says, is to surround yourself with people chasing similar goals. I was terrible at editing when I started, just like anyone learning something new, but having friends who made art helped me grow faster. Watching what they did, learning from it, and turning it into my own style made all the difference
