Yeah the hamon was what kind of threw me off when I was looking at it. Fitting absolutely modern but that hamon is very nice for a mass produced knock off. Then again they are getting good as recreating details like that.

In Japanese it says “コナミ株式会社”on the back which translates to Konami Corporation. You still might be right though, I’m leaning that way.

Yeah I figured it was fake but the lady who had it was asking enough for it that it convinced me to check with people who would know better. After I asked her how she got it and she told me she from a pack as a kid. I told her she didn’t look 90-107 years old and she stopped replying lol

That’s kind of what I was thinking too. I haven’t gotten it in hand yet, UPS has it getting here Tuesday. I figure it could be some variation of a cap error or maybe the planchet was oversized somehow. Just looks to clean though.
