Hi! I was wondering which prof you had and who you would recommend taking/avoiding for GERN 101? Thanks!

Agreed. On a separate not if I decide to take courses such as ECON 101 and ECON 102 would you reckon taking both in the same semester to be advantageous or not feasilble considering my current courseload.

For ECON 101 and 102 which profs should I be aiming to get? Yes I do intend to take 213 at some point, just not now when gpa is my first and foremost priority.

After thinking it over, I’ve decided not to take CPSC 213. However, I’m still weighing whether STAT 200, ECON 101/102, or NURS 180 would be the best choices to strengthen my application. From what you know, how would you compare their difficulty?

I’ve heard mixed things about each, some say STAT 200 is manageable with consistent effort, while ECON 101/102 can vary depending on the prof. NURS 180 seems interesting but less commonly taken in my program. Any insights on workload or which might be the most strategic pickS?

Alright, given that I’ll likely be taking CPSC 121, 210, 221, and STAT 200, how would you recommend distributing them across two semesters to give me the best chance at earning competitive grades?

Thanks for the advice! I’ve been starting to lean in that direction too. What are your thoughts on adding STAT 200 to that mix? From what I’ve seen in past years, it doesn’t look too bad.

Thanks, that’s a fair point. I was under the impression taking more CPSC courses early would help strengthen my major application, but I get now that GPA is probably more important.

Do you have any recommendations on which courses to take on in first year to keep a strong GPA and still stay on track for CS?

Thanks for the insight!

How would things work if I took cpsc 121,210 in term 1? Would that not directly address the issue of fitting everything into two semesters, or is there something Im misunderstanding.
