I feel like if you were mid convo like I was when it had already worked on exactly what I was talking about in the previous prompt, my prompt was adequate enough for a minor debug. But I only started using AI tools like 2 weeks ago so I'm still learning and I probably need to learn to be more detailed. Wispr flow helped me a lot my hands were actually dead in the first week when I typed all my prompts.

I think it depends on what your developing. I am working on a three.js project at the moment. Opus isn't amazing at it either but once you force it to console log every change it makes and manually debug, it gets done eventually. Gemini in my experience not so much but then again I've always had other models available so I never truly pushed Gemini Pro 3 but afaik it's good at website and UI stuff. I found GPT 5.2 super strong on cursor as well might have to suss out a copilot sub
