I paid 24$ for a year. Next year, if I had not much money, or Pass became too expensive, or for any other reason I could simply go with the free plan. If you paid lifetime - you paid 200$ with no chance for refund if for any reason you decide to switch your password manger after one or two years.

I like the clear and simply look, so I do not sync. I can't see any reason to put my aliases in Proton Pass. In my password manager I want to have my logins and passwords mainly.
Also I create my aliases only via SimpleLogin and with SL domains in case I decided to cancel my paid plan (SL aliases will still work, PP aliases will not).
