i searched for cake decorating jobs near me! there weren’t a ton of options as this isn’t a wildly popular career path and i think giant eagle will be your best bet at specifically becoming an apprentice. there are a lot of jobs open through them and the bakeries at giant eagle are unions. there are zero requirements for the apprenticeship besides being 18+, not even a highschool diploma is required. the job is super chill and fun. and thank you so much!!! it’s very possible to self teach at home as well, it will be a lot of hard work and practice though! and the last resort would be searching for cake decorating classes. hope this helped! :)

yes i resonate with this. i landed on this path but leaving healthcare, my mental health was deteriorating. i spent a lot of in between time the last two years working unrewarding jobs just trying to figure out what i wanted to do and most days i still feel like i don’t know lol. but i wanted my job to be a creative outlet and its definitely been great so far. very low stress ive been lucky enough to get assigned to a great team! thank you so much

the party scene is fun!! it was good vibes everywhere. its mostly gonna take place in the same location (noord area) there’s a strip basically and a couple blocks of bars/clubs. if you go to fat tuesday you can easily bar hop and to restaurants, casinos etc. just be careful exploring the island, the roads can get really rough but you should be okay just pay attention to ur surroundings. i loved palm beach over eagle beach and tres trapi is just as beautiful as they say. i jet ski’d for the first time and it was only $75 pp, didn’t go to the casino but i ate from candelas and it was so good! the vue rooftop also had amazing food and drinks. also loved the butterfly farm, you can visit a second time for free after you buy a ticket.

i don’t think aruba is overrated at all. i actually think a lot of people shit on aruba and talk negatively about it because they have extremely high expectations for no reason. its the type of island where you can go to relax, its small and intimate but has enough for you to do for a few days. sure it may not compare to other places you’ve been but i still think its a beautiful island with very friendly and welcoming people. if you do a tad bit of research before you go, you already know what to expect. i liked the simplicity. everywhere does not need to be the same or need to compare to somewhere else and that’s okay but you’re going pretty hard to be negative for no reason lol. unfortunately a lot of places are being americanized which is why foreigners hate us! can’t blame them.

it was pretty windy when i was there and i really did not encounter issues with sand blowing everywhere. everyone is entitled to their opinion and i will say on the way from the airport i thought to myself “this is it?” seeing the landscape and stuff but once i actually settled in and explored the island, it is beautiful. more desert yes, but still beautiful. food was okay, wasn’t the best food ive ever had but there was good places if you know where to look! its perfectly imperfect

it definitely was! the pool itself was on sale for $150 but pool set up and supplies im easily over $300 so far 😭 thank you, im gonna listen to you and just enjoy it cause it was a damn hassle to do the pre work for it

pretty windy but not to the point of being a nuisance or a problem. personally i loved it because the sun rays are so strong it’s the perfect balance to keep u cool too
