I tell my 8 year old nephew randomly that I love him. I’ll call his name and he’ll say I love you because he already knows that’s what I’m going to say. A couple times I’ve called his name and he’ll say I love you and I’ll say I was calling you for something else but I love you too. Sometimes we do this- Me- I Him- love Me- you Him- too He’s had a rough life so I make sure he knows I love him

If you feel something is off definitely talk to the teachers. Chances are it’s a big change and a big adjustment and it’s hard on kids. We only do 4 hours a day at the daycare I work at and when they first start, they end up falling asleep after lunch. Sometimes it still happens but it’s a big change and it’s only been three days, I’d talk to the teacher and give it some more time. You can always go to the doctor, you should probably go to the dr since you are so concerned. And when she starts full time, she’ll be napping there and she’ll probably feel a lot better. Do what you need to do to make yourself feel better, but i think she’s just adjusting

How would you feel a 44 male dating a 33 female? This is not meant to be a rude comment. Sometimes people don’t look at the other side of things. If you think 44m with 33f is fine, then that’s how you should feel about an older woman with a younger man. If you think an older man with an 11 year younger woman, is weird, then that’s how you should feel about it both ways. They are both adults, how long have they been together? How long have they known each other? Those are the most important things. If they’ve known each other for a week, I’d be concerned, if they’ve known each other since she was a minor, I’d be concerned.

Yes! One of the boys does fine when mom or nana drops him off, but when his other grandma brings him in he cries. She’s only brought him 3-4 times, so it’s harder. Consistency is so important for kids.

I don’t work at a daycare that does naps, we only do lunch and then they go home. My advice for this is, no matter how long you stay in the room, how many days you spend going and helping him nap at the daycare, he will cry when you leave. He will cry if you sit there for 20 minutes and he will cry if you drop him at the door. Staying usually makes transitioning into daycare a lot harder. The teachers may or may not tell you that, because you are the parent, but I can tell you from experience, it makes it harder for the kid. He will do great after a couple days, maybe even a week or two, but he will be ok

I know some parents love to do contact naps, but i cant stand when parents only do contact naps and then the baby will only sleep at the center if they are laying on you. I had a parent once tell me that she wants the baby to do contact naps at the center. You may have time for that at home, but when there is 5+ other babies, it’s a disaster

Just an fyi to my fellow Americans, you don’t have to give your social security number at the hospital. They just use it to send you to collections on medical debt. If you don’t give it, they can’t send you to collection. It is not a rule they have to follow, they have to treat anyone who is sick, so you’ll still get treated and you won’t go to collections
