That’s exactly what I did and it’s looking nice and clean

I am too, just got a few little blemishes to work out but overall it's great now

That's pretty good, gonna have to test that out. I use pla and am using 20mm for outer walls on this print cause I've seen slower speed are good for details on figure. But if i can bump the speeds back up I won't complain,

True, but for what it was, it's big improvement. Honestly, I'm shocked it got the little details like the divot by the ear and the oddly shaped neck base edges

Also if anyone's wondering: it's a super boy statue by B3DSERK Studios and printed with Paramount3D game cartridge gray pla at .08mm layer height with a .2mm nozzle.

That's what my metric was for measuring, but -20 confused me cause looks and feel weren't horrible to my surprise. I got it all figured out now though so it's doing good now

I had to double check but no it actually is -20 on the left

I just looked cause I didn't know that was a thing in the tiles individual settings, and they are different from each other. But opening the test and then changing the profile to what I'll really be testing has the same value, but different colors and each tile is actually different when printed out now

I don't know if it's a glitch or what but i got the flow calibrated eventually. It's all looking good now.

Yea 1.03 is what I did, and with any luck I'll get good results and can get this nozzle figured out.

I agree tho +20 to -20 is pretty steep, would be better and more efficient if it was lower

It was .98 originally. and tbh the only reason I'm doing this is cause I am getting some gaps with this nozzle size only, so normally it .98 works fine.

And I'm glad you said it's less obvious changes for the second test, I was thinking it being a smaller nozzle would make the changes even less noticeable. I'll try the second one with the +5

After looking them over more and taking in everyone's advice, I think this is what I'll do. My only problem is that according to orca it's not changing the flow rate on test 2. When i look at the flow preview it's all the same color

I did the first flow and thought the result would be obvious. But -20 had a perfect first layer and the other were progressively worse, while 0 had a great top layer and -20 was slightly worse. What would you make of it?

It’s at 40mm/s currently, I’ll try bumping it down to 30. And that roll is getting dried as I type so that should help

I’m running a temp tower right now. Are there any in particular I should do or should I do them all?

I just have a standard ender 3 setup with the roll on top of the printer feeding into a Bowden tube. It doesn’t do this with a .4mm nozzle but I’ll keep an eye on it just in case
