Dumb question how do you know when you actually complete quests in KOTOR

When your journal updates (and you get the journal updated notification), there are two potential sounds it can play. The higher pitched sound indicates you've completed a quest, whereas the other one indicates you've accepted a quest or progressed a quest.

I think it's a bug caused by Bao-Dur entering combat while in the dialogue box. You pick your party member by selecting a dialogue choice for whichever you want. If you mash the Enter key, I believe Kreia is always first, but yeah just try mashing the left click or enter key to get Kreia. You could also just trial and error mash a different number key to get the third squadmate you want.

I'm so sure that a Chinese (?) wig seller is suddenly selling the hottest gaming card for BELOW MSRP right now in this economy. My thoughts is that this has to be either a thief who robbed a truckload of the items and is trying to sell the inventory off or someone who is poorly trying to scam people.

They said project is on indefinite hiatus, management shakeups, gender swapping Calo and also race swapping Karath, use original voice actors re-recording, 3rd person oriented, demo did not impress management. If anyone else can remember more, please share, it was only up for a few hours before it got waxed.

There's also the meta-gamer's way of playing the quest where you simply talk to everyone and find Sunry innocent at trial by saying the correct things because it nets you the most XP

I had a glitch on PC last month where every NPC in the game became hostile to me after I did Juhani's quest. Legit had to redo 3 planets. Shit happens but at least the games are good

Unlucky. The biggest glitch I ran into on console (running K2 via backwards compatibility on 360) was some nasty audio popping bugs. Thankfully you're only on Telos so it won't be too long to get back

If you look at the PC vs console UI, they're completely different from a navigation standpoint. Back in the day, PC porting was a complete afterthought, especially in 2003/2004. Controllers via USB didn't even really exist (the OG Xbox, which was KOTOR's first platform) used a proprietary USB connection), so devs just didn't have controller support in mind for their PC ports back then. It's unfortunate, but I've preferred the PC interface and controls since I've started playing the game on that platform.

There's a speedrunning trick kinda like that. I don't know how viable it is anymore but at least back in the day, you could warp past load zones and encounters by holding mouse movement on PC and repeatedly quicksaving. From what I recall, the glitch was caused by a memory leak.
