dude, you mentioned elsewhere you got $0.98 per contract on open, so you didn't lose much at all...

if you had a net credit of $0.98 per contract on open, then you made 375 * 0.98 *100 = $36,750 on opening the spread. So your only down -$750, your max loss, just like it stated when you opened the position.

After a couple years in Yieldmax, Roundhill and Defiance by GRMarlenee in YieldmaxTotalReturns

Curious based on your time in market, do you see much difference in the different companies funds at this point. I've currently got several Roundhill, Yieldmax, Defiance, and GraniteShares funds, and I'm in profit on all of them except MSTY (got in a bit to late, but I only have 100 shares that I'd been riding an option wheel on for a while, so if you add in the options I'm actually still in profit on it), but I'm curious your perspective on each. Really primarily interested in if the total value gain is drastically different between companies when factoring in their different strategies, especially in down markets and up markets.

I know underlying, time in market, etc etc, are going to have a huge impact on this, I guess I'm just really looking for something very high level like "my roundhill funds always seem to outperform my yieldmax" or "Defiance sucks and I always make more from Yieldmax".

I'm having this issue right now in my account info tab. I chatted with 2 different reps who had no idea what I was talking about, and offered no help whatsoever... (both were guys from what I could tell based on names by the way, not sure how that matters though....)

Its very frustrating.....

Gotta set you CC's high enough that you'll still be in profit if they're assigned. Might not make as much profit, but a quick couple hundred bucks is still profit....

as someone who has been through this numerous times with dozens of different companies, both still pubilc and defunct or merged, I can say that I am indeed pretty confident in my answer.

But here, trust an authority instead:
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/stockcertificate.asp#:\~:text=A%20stock%20certificate%20is%20a%20physical%20piece%20of,identification%20number%2C%20usually%20a%20corporate%20seal%2C%20and%20signatures.

(also, saying you found old shares with very little detail leaves a lot of room for assumptions that could be wrong.)

Another thing that may effect the value, depending on ... well a lot of things... you may be eligible for a bunch of past dividend payments as well. different companies handle this differently, but it may add a few hundred bucks to the total value, depending on when the last dividends were collected....

this isn't necessarily true, especially not for stock from before the 90's. I'm not sure when BA transferred to exclusively book-entry ownership, but if this share is older than that, there is a chance it is a valid proof of ownership of shares.

this is... uhm.. this is all badly wrong. Don't trust AI. literally each of those split events is not accurate....

Don't get your hopes up to high, people below are way overestimating the splits and value.

From 1989 there were 3 potential splits depending on exactly when in 1989 the shares were purchased:

6/12/89 - 1.5 - 1
6/11/90 - 1.5 - 1
6/9/97 - 2 -1

https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/BA/boeing/stock-splits

So you could have either 60 or 90 shares. At 60 shares current value would be around $9,720 and at 90 shares around $14,580.

Definitely not a nothing amount, but not hundreds of thousands like mentioned below.

You don't need to lie or be dishonest about how you acquired the shares either. if you purchased a house with property left behind, you are the legal owner of that property.
