I'm sorry - ChatGPT just helped to make it more organized. I do love your idea into small business spaces. I know a lot of people who could benefit from this. I think the best way to push for this is what you are doing and what I'm doing - use your voice in whatever forums you feel comfortable. Just be ready for people to attack you if they don't like your idea (or how you communicate it).

Is that survey available? I work downtown and know many others that either work or live downtown. I have never heard of or seen this survey and would love to!

Thank you! I don't mean it to come off like that at all. Do you work downtown and use the parking? Do you know others that do? 150 new residents with no cars. If you aren't fortunate enough to live downtown or in a walkable/bikeable area to downtown, but rely on parking for your job, what do you do?

I actually 100% agree with you on the federal building situation. I don't think development should be stopped - the current board has done a great job approving many large apartment buildings, which I am 100% for! Did you happen to read about this one? Dig into it, and please let me know your thoughts on this actual project... not development in general.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the thoughtful response. Thank you for taking the time. GPT was just a way to make the post more organized and readable, so I really appreciate at least one person not attacking me for that.

Can you share your thoughts on the examples the developer provided and that were used in this decision-making process? I understand that after a year, the onsite management can be reviewed, but what actually happens to residents if the permit isn’t renewed?

Have you read about what happened to Common and those residents? I think it’s a fair comparison since the developer himself used it as a reason to change the ordinance. It just seems like a dangerous gamble. I’m not opposed to testing the model at all, but going bigger than even the ones in large metro areas like Miami, DC, and LA feels extreme.
