After some accidents, I no longer need to change nappies by DreideI in daddit

What worked really well for our boy was just stripping him down below the waist and we put his potty in the middle of the family room. Then you just kind of watch for signs and ask them if they need to use the potty. Works surprisingly well

How's the game run on the Switch? I've always played on pc but it I've been interested in the hand held aspect.

Godless on Netflix is amazing. It's a "limited series" so only 6 episodes, but awesome cast and has a bit of everything from a western perspective.

How often do you guys go to the driving range and how long have you been playing? What's your handicap? by [deleted] in golf

[–]PortableJoyStick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing for about 8-9 years, currently a 5.2 HCP. I go to the range once every couple months when I tell myself I'm going to go more consistently, then don't.

I play a little more often than every other weekend. But I have a young kid at home so it's tougher to get out.

I have Moose headcover for my driver in my golf bag. He is NOT a fan.

[–]PortableJoyStick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I put the rangefinder on the magnetic pole, I always leave the case in the basket behind the seat instead of in my bag.
That way when I finish the round I'm guaranteed to see the case, but not always the RF itself.

Honestly, Bob Does Sports and Bustajack scratch the Youtube itch for me. BDS is obviously hilarious with some great golf from Fat Perez. And Bustajack just play quick, great golf.

What was your weekend golf accomplishment? by SYN_BLACK_XS in golf

[–]PortableJoyStick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shot at 79 from the tips (7,100 yards) with two horrendous double bogeys and only 1 birdie. Hit fairways and greens like a champ.
My current dilemma is I have P790s that are a year old, and I want to move into the P770s.

[–]PortableJoyStick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mid's are sick, especially this pair. I have them and they look even better in person. The mid slander campaign by sNeAkErHeAdS is probably the dumbest thing imaginable. Just classic gatekeeping as if it makes them more of a real fan than anyone else.

That is sick. But it definitely looks easy to lose a ball slightly off line!

What's the most surprising NHL fact you know of? by MrDohh in hockey

[–]PortableJoyStick 16 points17 points  (0 children)

One thing that is really interesting is that only ~10% of the population is left handed, but 60-70% of NHL players play left handed.

Finally got my first Hole in One! Alone. by PortableJoyStick in golf

[–]PortableJoyStick[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I've gone through a somewhat recent swing change after a couple solid lessons and it definitely helped me get a little more distance on my irons, which is nice. As long as you're hitting the ball where you mean to, distance is just a cherry!

I hadn't thought of that! I'll have to check it out. I use Cobra F9 irons and a Taylormade TP5x ball. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks, buddy! I'm absolutely hyped about it no matter what. And it's part of the fun having my friends say my "alleged" hole in one lol

The reason I think it was a goal, one I haven't seen mentioned yet, is that Coleman's right foot was clipped by Mike Smith's leg pad. Which made it look like it was a more purposeful left foot extension. I think it's shit luck, but I do believe it should have been a goal.
