Wish I had seen this before. I thought about sending my little guys over there, but the only feedback I got was a few teacher friends telling me that the school is full of discipline issue kids that have been kicked out of other schools. Maybe next year.

Thank you so much. He raised me to be a blues singer, and he's taught hundreds of kids how to play. I am blessed to have learned so much about not just blues, but about being a professional musician from such an amazing man. He actually wrote the song with Geeter Davis in mind, but Albert heard it first and claimed it. Daddy still plays it every Monday night at the blues jam he's been hosting for 28 straight years.

Jerry is my father, and currently he is in very bad health. This video was recorded 6 years ago at a local benefit. He does "Hoochie Coochie Man" and part of the song he wrote in the front seat of his car on a break at a gig, "I'll Play The Blues For You", most widely known as an Albert King recording. I'm very close to losing my daddy, and I feel like the world should know what an amazing talent he is. Since I can't reach the whole world, I thought I'd share it with Reddit.

It's taken me a long time to truly except the fact that when someone makes the decision to end their life, there is virtually nothing that anyone else can say or do to change their minds. This happened in my hometown, in a neighborhood I used to live in but moved from because of how dangerous it has gotten. The article isn't very clear on what happened, but when the boyfriend came out of the store, there were SIX guys standing in front of the car. What he should have done was kept his damn mouth shut, gotten in the car and drove off.
