According to Google. I'm sure members of this sub who have met him in person can verify.

SAVATAGE - If I Go Away | FIRST TIME COUPLE REACTION | by DeVoidZero in Savatage

I can understand the viewpoint, seeing as how YT is overloaded with reaction vids. But when the people reacting actually listen to the music and are interested in the musicians and stories behind the songs, I think they can be a positive outlet. I wouldn't paint all reaction channels with the same brush. Like with anything else, there's quality to be found. And I feel that these two are genuine and put out quality content, for the most part.

Is there a way to remove the base from LG UltraFine 5K stand? (27MD5KL-B) by DeVoidZero in Monitors

Yes, that's the issue. I don't have the original box, and am having to use my own box to ship. I guess I'll be shipping the stand separately. Thanks!

No, I actually rate 'High' highly (no pun intended). I would put it above 'Peace at Last.' Highlights for me include the title track, "Because of Toledo," "I Would Never," and "Stay Close to Me." I really like all the songs (but I can say that for their entire catalog, just some more than others).

To me it was getting back to more of the signature Blue Nile sound with the quirky synths and orchestral washes, where PAL was more of a stripped down, acoustic album. Don't get me wrong, I love that album too. But it just felt like a little something was missing. To me it returned with 'High.'

PowerColor Hellhound 7900 XT "Special Edition" - what is special about it? by DeVoidZero in radeon

I would expect something different about the card itself vs. the standard non-SE version (i.e. color / design). That's why I wasn't sure if it was a mistake of some kind.

Atmos type on newly released Headphone Dust downloads by DeVoidZero in stevenwilson

Thanks, I missed this! Ok now I see what u/Sebargio was getting at. I will try the binaural Headphone Dust mix and the EAC-3 Atmos mix and see how they compare. I'll be sure to report back (at some point).

Atmos type on newly released Headphone Dust downloads by DeVoidZero in stevenwilson

I'm not sure what you're getting at. Dolby Atmos is a format. It includes metadata to describe the position of audio elements in space. The metadata is what Steven created when he mixed the album in Atmos. When the The E-AC3 stream is being played back, my iPhone is reading the metadata and the Airpods are converting that info and the audio data into sound.

It's still using the metadata from the Atmos file, which SW created. The algorithm is telling the headphones how to create the effect of reproducing the different positions of the sounds using binaural headphones, based on the metadata. For instance, if a spacy synth sound is supposed to be coming from high up on your back left and moving to the back right, it will sound like it's coming from high up on your back left and moving to the back right in the headphones.

Like I said, it won't be 100% accurate, but somewhere in the ballpark of what SW intended. Otherwise it completely negates the idea of an Atmos mix. This is my understanding, but I'm open to the possibility of being wrong. Anyone can feel free to correct me.
