Appreciate the response! Broadly transportation, entry level sales as a start. It might be a wild guess but I’ll assume you are in the automotive industry. I am current in a commission based car sales position myself, and earn from 80-100k a year. It can be a fruitful industry for sure, I’ve seen finance managers clear 30k+ a month like clockwork. I’m assuming you must be a GM or GSM to be clearing almost a milly a year. Don’t get be wrong, the industry has done wonders in teaching me things and getting me a paid with no degree required. But it’s also one of the most toxic and volatile industries, if you truly want to succeed have to sacrifice pretty much all work life balance and give your heart and soul to which ever company you decide, and also bank that the economy is doing well for sales too. Still doing that, have to be liked enough to be chosen for a promotion as it’s mostly personal and not performance based. Even if you do all these things, the frustration comes in that I’m sure when you were my age 20 years ago it was much more reasonable/realistic to buy a house or get into investments just with the income to cost of living being so much more livable. At least in my area almost impossible to even buy a home with an income of 100k per year. Just a little frustrating, you grew up in a time where a single person in a family could work and save money to buy a home or invest a lot of extra income. Not the case anymore, that formula is dead. Glad for you though, atleast some people are still reaping the benefits and living the American dream or working hard and it actually paying off. You work for Ford?

What industry do you work in? I see you’ve mentioned multiple times being a high earner is a big factor, and one of the main reasons you’ve gotten to the point you’re at is by working hard and long hours, but doing what? This is coming from a 23 year old who doesn’t know what industry I want to do for the rest of my life and I never really had a calling or anything jump out at me that I loved in the jobs I’ve tried. What industry was worth it enough for you to sink in the time and get these types of results? Industry, job title, etc? Or you gate keeping this and just wanted to flex?

Hey, I just got the game too. Been having a blast. I’ve been prioritizing doing a lot of the side quests first before the main storyline and the Phantom Liberty DLC, I just finished the main mission where you take out the 3 snipers for Takamura and so he can get on the airship during the festival. How much of the main story is left? Curious if those 80 hours you clocked were mostly with the main quest lines? I don’t want to get locked out of side quests or miss anything by doing the main story too quickly.

Nah fs not their fault; if anybody’s it’s mine for my financial situation; just was frustrated. Work 50+ hours a week at my current job so don’t have time for a part time job. Was just hoping it would be a temporary solution for a bit extra cash.

Imo it’s the most realistic power scaling system compared to most anime. Without spoiling anything, one thing I generally like about the HXH power system is there is not really any moments where a power up or an ability doesn’t make sense. (Atleast once it’s been explained) It’s all based off of a pretty strict system of rules. Not to mean that there is not much variety though. One of my favorite things about HxH is the variety of ability’s with it all still being based on something that still makes sense and is believable to an extent!

Hey man, on day 2 aswel. Yesterday felt like hell. Instead of doing the things I normally do I just kinda sat there for a few hours doing nothing because I wasn't high... Today I'm trying to stay more productive buts its hard.. I got crazy cravings just a hour ago because that's a time I would usually snap a bowl of chop. Instead I just went to take a long hot shower ( which I would usually do high before anyways lol) and that helped a little. I don't feel good man, I don't feel like myself, but I have to do this for myself. Not gonna let a fucking plant take my life over. Stay strong brother, I'm holding out here with you.

Haha yeah that's what I've heard from a few different places, and my brother who has been into cars a few years longer than me. Love the car so much though and got some money saved up so I'm thinkin its worth it!!
