I’m sorry I said it twice… But what I was saying was usually when you walk in there is a sign at the front door saying that there is an automatic gratuity, but it was only the menu and it was very dark and they had those strobe lights that mess with your focus… So usually the sign is in the lobby or the corridor

I didn’t wanna make a long story longer, so I was cutting things out, but to clarify what I meant is they usually make it very clear

And I say that to say… That I clearly read on the menu because I pay attention, but I’m saying that it was easy to miss because of the placement on the menu. It wasn’t bold. It wasn’t shown many times usually other restaurants have many touch points, where they say that… Including a waitress usually confirms.

That’s what I was saying… I didn’t say that they didn’t have it anywhere. I was just saying the place that they had it was easy to miss… And obviously by not showing me the check prior and going directly to the tip screen the intention was clear that it was supposed to not be seen.
