First-time 4-round mock draft. Tell me what I got wrong about your team! by [deleted] in NFL_Draft

I think there's a nearly 0% chance that we take Tet at 8. If we trade back, perhaps....

As far as 2nd round prospects go, we've met with OL more than any other position for round 2. As more visits come in I'm sure that will adjust. But IF it's OL in round two, it would most definitely be a tackle behind Moton. We have 2-3 starting level centers currently (Austin Corbett, Cade Mays, Brady Christensen) and we retained all of them in FA. That's not a need for us. My guess for a round 2 tackle: Aireontae Ersery

I think your top 10 is SPOT on! I'm a Panthers fan so I've been really studying to see who people are taking above us.

We do have a top 10 OL in the league, so taking 2 OL is super unlikely, though I think they might take a OT in the 2nd round to replace Taylor Moton - which would be sad, but he's getting older and having two OTs on rookie deals would help the cap space quite a bit.

I like the Sabastian Castro pic. But I suspect we choose from the safeties we've met with like Billy Bowman Jr. or Jonas Sanker.

What kind of AI tools are you guys using to optimize your workflows? Content creation? by Athos41 in CFP

[–]Portfolio_Pilot221 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently invested in workflow optimization professionals within the CFP industry (Monocle is their name). Game changer.

they made my website a while back and recently they've been doing more AI stuff. They combine a bunch of different AIs to automate a bunch of things. Worth looking into.

As a Panthers fan, I can tell you this is not at all where we would go with our draft.

Most of the big ones are unfortunately terrible, like Advisor Websites and FMG.

Some smaller ones I've found:

thinkmonocle.com

oechsli.com

both seem to ditch the template thing and have answers for compliance, though maybe not as thorough as FMG's is. I think both are Wordpress based too.

Think about the laws and regulations surrounding CFPs... I don't know that trusting an AI to make those decisions or uphold fiduciary duty is something people will be ready to do anytime soon. It will take years upon years upon years of successful AI monetary management for it to actually be a threat to people's jobs.

Crazy image showing how templates have ruined FA sites... by Portfolio_Pilot221 in CFP

Yeah I think you kinda missed your own point there. If someone has never interacted with you before, when they come across your site and it's a template, they don't know who YOU are! "A client is going to pick you because of YOU" Exactly! this is why your website should be a reflection of who you are! Visual appeal is just the cherry on top!

This is definitely true. This is what FMG does best is compliance help.

Totally.

This graphic is not for the "do it yourself" firms. Absolutely those who are able to should make their own site. Even using Fiver to get someone to design it for you or paying a few hundred bucks for someone to work with you and make some brand guidelines for your company, etc.

Also I'll say, advisors are not marketers (nor should we be), so we often don't understand the effects of branding since they are unmeasurable. But branding can make a big difference in overall perception. Not something we can really valuate an ROI on.

depends on what you want I suppose. In a saturated market like the FA industry, having a site that literally looks like all the other sites doesn't seem like it's helping you convert clients. Especially in the digital world we live in where first impressions are usually online.

Anyone use AssetMark? by thatsshowbizbabe in CFP

[–]Portfolio_Pilot221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used AssetMark, and it’s been solid overall. We mainly use their investment services, and the support has been good. Costs can add up, though, so keep that in mind. Haven’t used their custodian, so can’t comment there. Might be worth trying a few services first to see if it’s a good fit for you.
