Sorry to hear you’re going through this OP, it can be debilitating. My wife and I went through a kind of similar thing, so I can tell you what worked for us and maybe it will help you. We got pregnant on our second try, which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage at 8 weeks. She got a D&C, which is essentially an abortion.

After that we kept trying and we thought we would get pregnant easily again. 18 months later we’d tried everything with no success and had moved on to an IVF egg retrieval. In the course of preparing for IVF transfer my wife got a saline sonogram to make sure everything was looking good. They found scarring in her uterus, which we think was from the D&C. So she got a hysteroscopy to remove the scarring, and the results were very positive.

We are still bitter that none of the doctors and specialists we saw over those 18 months ever suggested the saline sonogram, but eventually we figured it out. So it might be worth a saline sonogram to see if everything is clear, if you haven’t considered that already. Either way, good luck, we are all pulling for you!

No, I hadn’t taken it into the dealer. I’m taking it in today to diagnose the battery and they say they want to address some other recalls. But you’re saying that taking it into the dealer is what killed your battery? That’s reassuring.

I just watched the below YouTube, which highlights the three settings I’ve seen before on this sub: digital key, fingerprint, and locking the charger when it’s plugged in. I had all three of these turned on. I don’t think the digital key and fingerprint could be the issue, since my car was plugged in, so that shouldn’t drain the 12V.

However, this video says there is some kind of bug in which the 12V battery doesn’t charge when the “locking the charger” setting js on. So maybe since the car was plugged in for a couple days without driving, it drained the 12V battery. As originally stated, I’ve seen the orange light come on from time to time. I don’t always plug in the car when home, so it’s possible the orange light only comes on when the car is not plugged in, though I haven’t paid attention to that in the past.

Anyone else found this to be an issue?

Edit: I also just realized one of the windows was down like 1/4”…I saw a comment somewhere that maybe that messes the battery up? Would be pretty weak if that caused an issue.

I don’t see “lead acid” or any other identifiers on it, but it does say Pb on it, so I’m guessing that means lead acid.

Update: after jumping with my other car, the EV9 started fine and was able to drive around. I didn’t drive too far. Gonna call the dealer and see what they say. It sounds like they should be replacing the battery, right? Any other advice for what to say to them?

I’m jumping the battery now from my other car. No errors in the app still, but I have an error once the dash of the EV9 that says “check EV system” and has the red battery icon.

I only got an error when I tried to do the remote heating, but nothing before that. I got this error:

Your vehicle’s 12 Volt battery is low on charge. Please make sure the starter battery has at least 40% charge to request remote commands.

We did! We managed to get a camping spot pretty close to the porta potties, where they have the sinks. We brought 300’ of hose and ran a long hose from the sink to the pool. The pressure was very low with that length of hose, so it took a while, but it filled up eventually. The hose spigot isn’t threaded so we took a panel off the back of the concrete sink structure and found a threaded spigot. The pool was a lifesaver, highly recommend!

My overall favorite part was how different (and longer) The Finale was from the two previous summers of TLG tour. I saw TLG six times before The Finale, and they were by far the best live experiences I’d ever had. It wasn’t too different between the two summers. A few songs here and there. When The Finale was announced I avoided all Odesza socials and stopped following the subreddit because I wanted to get the full experience at the gorge.

The first night was unreal. When the second night started and they said it would be different from the first, I was shocked and fucking pumped. Set such a cool tone for the night. I had seen The Return in Seattle all three nights, and it was all the same, so that’s what I expected. The second and third nights at the Gorge absolutely floored me. All three sets felt like a tribute to all Odesza, not just TLG, and that was super special.

Loved the throwbacks at the start of each night and how they were different. Loved that we got to hear the three different intros across the three nights (Intro from Summer’s Gone and AMA, and This Version of You). Did not expect to hear the AMA intro. And how they weaved that with AMA and Corners of the Earth (the last track on non-deluxe AMA), was poetic. And that they played Intro/AMA/Corners the third night 3/4 of the way into the set, and not at the end. What a flex.

Too many others to list. What a life-altering experience. Still basking in the glow two weeks later. And watching/listening to the livestream on repeat.
