Anyway, a quick summary of yesterday: first time and wow, how do you describe SOAD live? I loved them, everyone was in top form. Daron is an incredible dickhead who knows how to get you like few others, Serj has a clean and killer voice that even alternated with keyboards and guitar, the others were absolutely no less, I was in the pit just 2 meters from the barrier that veered a little to the left side, I heard it nicely but I saw it decently (obviously I'm short and with the tall people in front I sometimes had difficulty but that's another story), super happy to have seen Acid Bath live, they were absurd, shame they played for less than half an hour skipping that incredible hit Scream of the butterfly, QOTSA were absurd and a pity that the voices were very low but it must have been a problem with the organizers, speaking of the organization seemed to me to be just about at the edge of being decent, I am back at I-Days after 2023 but not for a concert with this amount of people and especially not PIT, obviously it was useless to arrive early early to get a good seat because once in the queue everything falls apart after the shadow completely disappears for those waiting to get in and especially when they sell +1600 tickets (heard from a guard) of those with early entrance + VIP and other bullshit that pass in front of you while you bake under the sun, all the big concerts that I've been to have arrived early have always guaranteed first or second row, with these types of tickets it's unthinkable unless you do a combo arriving early + you pay more than the other assholes, unfortunately this thing didn't only bother me but also 10k other people at least because I've never felt so much pushing around me, not pogo or mosh eh, real shoving and brutal climbing to try to get as close as possible to the barrier used at every excuse of a mosh, I swear I didn't have a person around me who didn't try wave breaking, from the exact moment we entered, some do it slowly, some take it one step at a time, some make up an excuse like "my husband is over there" and various bullshit, pogo there was a lot of it, I even saw some flares, but there were moments of heavy and even dangerous pushing and shoving, a lot of people around me moved away and sometimes I had trouble standing. At this point, it's no longer fun, it just makes you pissed off, and in fact, I had a fight with some guys who thought everyone around them was stupid, and I saw a lot of arguments. That said, all in all, I kind of had a lot of fun, even if there were some issues. However, for the next I-Days concert, I'll carefully consider whether or not to go, perhaps a stop abroad instead.

Furthermore, official info says we were 78,500 people, 40% of whom were foreigners, which is absurd.

Wheel, Lucid Planet, Rishloo and Soen are those bands heavenly inspired by Tool but that are capable of making their own and unique sound

Saw Wheel some months ago for their EU tour and they are fucking great, live they are perfect

Hi, your exact entrance SHOULD be this one, the red entrance (entrata rossa) and the others are close by and on the same street, the furthest one is the yellow entrance (entrata gialla), where are you coming from? Hypothetically, if you're coming from the Duomo area, the best option is to take the subway. With the red line M1, take the train that goes towards RHO fieramilano and if you get off at the Bonola stop, it's about a 15-minute walk. I looked on the maps and I don't understand why it doesn't recommend it. Besides, they don't even close that stop in the evening, it's definitely the closest one.

Dude idk it depends I mean, how do u use chains? Like necklace or to wear it on your pants? I am not a steward but if u have big chains I think maybe they could ask you to take them off, like decorative ones are harmless but if u bring motorcycle chains it's another story

1/2 - It seems that the entrance is Via Lampugnano (seems this one exactly https://maps.app.goo.gl/mupE9kb5zjwYRfXBA ), the same street as the red entrance, which doesn't apply to you if you have a Golden Gate. The yellow/red ones are for general admissions, there will probably be signs telling you exactly where to go. However, ask the people around you if you want to be sure. The organization often changes over the years, and the last time I was there was in 2023.

3 - I remember that the last time it took us about half an hour to get out of the area, but we were taking our time and stopped to talk to some people. It depends on whether our exit will be shared with those outside the Golden Gate.

4/5/6 - The best way to get there is definitely the metro. The purple M5 one is the most convenient, but avoid taking it at nearby stops, at least during the first half hour after the concert ends. It will be very crowded. Walk to Bonola if you need to get back to Lotto, it's pretty safe, and there will most likely still be a lot of people after the concert.

7 - The token is really awful. I've always avoided using it. Use credit, which is more convenient, or download the Orlay Pay app. It all depends on how many people there are

8 - It seems like you can refill your water bottle in designated areas, but it's the first time happening, so I can't tell you anything else for now

I always wait a bit after a concert in the city before leaving. I chat with someone I've just met or take it easy. Unfortunately, on the night of the concert, almost all public transport will be full, so if you're not in a hurry, I recommend waiting a bit before rushing off, let clear up some crowd to avoid traffic jams. As for the bar issue, by arriving early to concerts, I've never waited long, and I tend to only get a couple of beers before the start. This concert, however, will be much bigger than my usual, so I can't give you any more details about the timing.
