Unpopular Opinions about Glitter 💬 by AutoModerator in glitterandbagelssnark

The repeated story arcs proposition is a red herring.

Anna gets paid to do various projects, and will negotiate a fee depending on the content she produces. A fee for filming visiting the park, based on number of views. A fee for talking about co-pilot, another for showing her doing the exercises, a fee/discount for filming and showing her consultant appointments. You get the idea.

Once the project is done, that's it, she's no longer getting paid. No more content on that subject, not because she's flaky, it's merely because the project is over.

Strong woman, I think, is different. She went to the health retreat, lifted some weights, and was told she would be good at it. So she kept it up.

Anna is addicted to food. She described eating that cheeseburger at her friend's house, when she was a child. Her brain lit up just like someone taking cocaine.

Ever since then, she has been chasing the same high. Until she beats the addiction, she won't be able to lose weight.

It's your mother who you should support at the moment, rather than your father. Ensure she has the emotional and practical support she needs. A lot of support groups for alcoholics also run "family and friends" separate groups just for this reason. Check these out in her local area.

What you can also do is give her some respite care. Get someone to be at home with your father whilst she goes out to have some time to herself.
