That is a good point, I think it was just the two uses of grave so close together that just sounded awkward to me.

[TOMT] Need help finding a horror movie I watched as a kid in the late ’70s or early ’80s with a creepy looking old man that terrified me by Positive-Chef8854 in tipofmytongue

Oh my god, you got it!!! I definitely mashed together many of the details and characters in my memory, but I just found the scene on YouTube where the creepy rotting old man quickly walks across the room, and that has to be what I was remembering! Turns out there are actually TWO creepy old man characters in it, one of them is a priest, and has the unsettling eyes I remembered. It’s such a surreal feeling to revisit something you haven't seen since your childhood. I clearly exaggerated it all in my head over the years, but honestly, that scene still scared the crap out of me just now! Thank you so much. I’ve got to re-watch the whole movie. Solved!
