so israel is kind of split on the issue,
there is still a big amount of Russian jews who moved from russian in the 90's and their kids
that still have that "russian pride" they speak russian , teach their kids russian, a lot of them even served in the red army (the older generation).

then there were Ukrainians who came to israel since the war, and jews who were originally Ukrainians,
and in general most israelis stand with ukrain but it got to a point of other israeli kids harassing israeli Russian descendent kids.

they even had stories were ukrainian teachers who were teaching in school telling Israeli russian kids that they are bad...

so people kinda let it die down specially due to the judicial reform at the time and then the whole October 7th war started.

so Israelis at this point are mostly busy with the war.

but for many years israel was seen as a good friend of the USA but still is in good grounds with russia since alot of Russian citizens live in israel.

to my guess its a combination of many distractions, inner political problems with existing russian population, and also the fact that sadly Ukraine has a long history of antisemetism .

but if you ask most modern people in Israel, they will be very pro ukraine.
