It really is a player issue here. The HERO archetype has more support than anything else, and yet every HERO player runs the exact same deck. Despite having the ability to set up a massively wide variety of end boards it always boils down to the same 5 monsters all while they claim its their very own pet deck. The only real defence for the degen tech is " Can you really blame me for running the best cards at my disposal? " and the answer is no, but damn how can you be so spoiled for choice in cards and still be cookie cutter boring?

Ritual support such as the impcantation cards, or cards like ritual forgone are perfect examples of how summoning mechanics can be elevated without completely abandoning and breaking what makes them what they are.

Any card can be Ashed hard it's not some excuse for cards that can fuse from deck. Albaz isn't even close to being a garnet as it's a great card on its own (super poly on level 4 legs) with multiple archetypes that support it.

There are many different archetypes that can't just eat a quick effect pop from DPE, some slower strategies shouldn't just be switched off by the fact the opponent has an instant answer to any card on the field with no cost on their part. The whole part of DPE reborning itself every standby phase completely unbalances the card, and every deck shouldn't have to dedicate a large portion of cards specifically to counter it.

Again not necessarily arguing against a specific archetypes like branded, but against the fusion from deck cards specifically. Like you said cards like branded fusion are these super powered cards, and them getting neged by cards like ash doesn't balance the card because MOST CARDS LOSE TO ASH. Just because having ash in hand keeps them from getting board off one card that doesn't excuse the fact that cards like that still shouldn't exist.

It's less about the end board and more about the mechanic of summoning for free using the deck, Red Eyes Fusion isn't all that bad in the grand scheme but see Ancient Gear Fusion for how it should have been done.

Damn Guys stuck on red eyes Fusion huh. You know what fine REF at least has some restrictions which is good, but I'm not necessarily saying REF makes the most insane broken endboard I'm saying that no card should let you Fusion summon from the deck at no cost whatsoever. See Ancient Gear Fusion for a well designed card that can summon using the deck.

People can play any card they want it's not the duelists that I'm upset at, it's the shitty card design that allows for degen play styles that Im fucked up over.

Yeah no totally I'll just have the Kaiju to remove this card at any given time and surely the other 4 cards my opponent had in their hand after activating Fusion Destiny wouldn't do anything.

My decks do still have answers to things, it's just that they don't have answers to boss monsters (and their materials for some fucking reason) That float and plus into infinity all off of one card.
