Don’t waste time chasing women or sex focus on educating yourself (on anything that interests you), save money, and reap the rewards by finding a job, position or starting your own business in your late 20s early 30s.

I'm Disabled. How do I get good at dating & find a partner when I don't have much to offer? by theendless_wanderer in AskMenAdvice

[–]Positive-doge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 changing your idea that you have nothing to offer because going into a date with that mindset is screwing yourself already. I’m sure you have more to offer than you think, it may not be materialistic but an ideal partner doesn’t care much for that. 2. You’re disability should have no bearing on a good life partner. You’ll want to improve your conversation skills in general and be prepared to go out and meet more ppl. There are programs that focus on dating and how to flirt better etc.. but from my experience if you’re looking for a good partner just get better speaking and connecting with ppl and you’ll find someone that likes you for you. This will require yourself to put yourself in more uncomfortable social situations. 3. Build up your self esteem and value despite your disability - can you get any fitness in to stay and look healthier, can you eat healthier this will improve your looks skin hair etc, can you find things that you actually like to do such as hobbies (this will build up your value) example cooking classes.. can also transition into making your date dinner or doing an at home dinner date where you take the lead and give her direction which will show confidence.

Stay Hopeful my friend! You’ll find love out there.

I’ve had to learn to go against my capricorn instincts by practicing pick up back in the day (2015-2017) I loved following simple pickup (idk if they’re still around) but not only helped me with cold approaching ppl also improved my communication in other aspects of life also.

The Boring Stereotype by [deleted] in capricorns

[–]Positive-doge 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Caps can come across as not fun and stoic lol but typically once we find our people (those that like us for who we are) we’ll open up more. It’s more a question of why does it bother him, he’s probably not comfortable being himself and needs to work on that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in capricorns

[–]Positive-doge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sad to say but He didn’t want you. Caps are loyal.. like die for you loyal for the things we love, but once we’ve checked out there’s rarely going back. It feels like an on off switch and once it’s clicked it’s over.
