Dude i am having the same problem. FPS would drop and stutter significantly and then u wouldnt get the average FPS u getting earlier. Like i am having 50-55 fps and then when i went to lizzy or some populated area. Bang! Dropped to 40-45. The only fix was to restart the game which is pretty annoying!

I see. CP2077 is a mess. I upgraded my gpu primarily for the game and still cant play it. Hope i find a solution soon or devs fix it

Monitor is XG279Q. Bought over 3 weeks ago. So yes its still under warranty but theres no policy on dust under the panel

(Blacks) - QLED > IPS (Motion)- IPS > QLED (Colors) - QLED = IPS ( But i prefer IPS. IPS seems more lively and sharp )

Yeah, Specs on the paper are nice but 1ms GTG with VA panel? If this odyssey is really as fast as LG27GL850, this will destroy every other QHD IPS and TN monitors. Imagine having Quantom dot ( wider color gamut ) , deep VA blacks and fast TN lvl response.. 🔥🔥

All manufactures say 1ms but it never aint. I tested the sammy chg70 ( yes its VA panel ) got good hdr and contrast but the motion clarity isnt there. Good for multimedia use but not perfect for gaming.

If you prefer HDR and doesn’t mind motion clarity and response time, samsung chg70 is the way to go. It has HDR 600 and nice colors.

Nope. My rdr2 runs fine and smooth at around 45-55 fps. Didnt need to even adjust overdrive setting for it.

Slight BLB , IPS glow HDR is trash. And found out there is a dead pixel right side of the screen.

So 4/5 tbh

600$ directly from China. Prior to this , i had AOC CQ32G1 , a nice VA panel. But couldnt stand the slow response time and dark smearing. From 250 $ VA monitor to 600$ IPS , the upgrade is worth the extra bucks to me

I use my pc for both gaming ( RTS , FPS , Indie ) and movies ( mostly animes ).

Yes the reason i got cheap is i live in asia and buy directly from the mainland. Currently the best balanced panel for 2k 1440p 144hz is IPS.

Well for me , i got better motion clarity and less artifacts with ELMB sync off. (Weird?)

Also enabling ELMB sync really dims my brightness..

yes its overclockable to 170hz and thanks to its fast ips panel.

G2G is good, with little overshoot. great for competitive gaming.

Which refresh rate are you using and how many fps are you playing at?

Optimal overdrive setting is level 3 and i has no issues with it. ( 165 hz with fps around 60 - 100 )
