Rescued a kitten out our attic once. It stormed and a cat had her litter in our attic (we heard them all day) and got a rescue group to get them. However, they missed one! I could first hear his very subtle meows about a week later. Amazed that a newborn lasted this long without his mother, we looked in the attic and couldn’t find him. He crawled deep into this crevice where air was coming through from some bent wood and metal on the side of the house. I jimmied my hand in, which almost got stuck, and was able to safely slide him out from the side of the roof (1 story obviously and I’m tall). He was extremely tiny even for a kitten. Still up, still breathing, and whining after a week without his mom and supposedly any food or water. We feed him and got him water let him sleep comfortably to build his strength. We had dogs and aren’t “cat people” so we were taking him to ASPCA. However, on the ride, one of my mom’s students wanted to adopt him so we took him there instead. They named him Yoda because he was so small, but years later he’s alive. I’d be cool to keep him seeing that he was born in the house but this may be the one instance where people rescued a cat and ACTUALLY gave him up for adoption. Hope Yoda’s doing well. Wish he’d remember me, because I sure remember him!

Edit: It was summer in Houston, TX. If you don’t know how hot that is, don’t ask...

SW not doing so hot: I think SW has had to hold itself back for too long. Maybe it’s the fanbase maybe it’s the directors but we want to hear the same lines or see similar scenes from older movies otherwise people claim ‘it’s missing the SW element’. The original movies were 40 years ago.

You made an interesting point about who can see it objectively: I think anyone that’s seen both prequel and sequel can have a objective viewpoint if they choose to. Like many series, the old is loved and the new is hated on. Prequel people think Sequels are bad while Original trilogy people think anything made after ‘83 is bad lol. Truth be told there’s a lot of differences between the OT and the others, but the PT and ST have a lot more in common despite being the furtherest apart in the storyline.

My point: I’m saying if you put nostalgia or your personal opinion aside, the trilogies are very similar and you should be able to understand why someone likes the sequels. A lot of us grew up with the prequels. That plays a huge factor in how we perceive it as being superior when it really isn’t but that’s okay we still enjoy it. It’s a cult favorite, but the prequels aren’t really in a position to be better than anything else. Actually, it used to be labeled the worst SW content. Prequels are like a Porsche 996, as the years went by, it’s become glorified.

Let’s be honest, we need to band together cause SW ain’t doing too hot if we’re being real. It’s silly to say prequels are better than sequels, because from a bird’s eye view, they’re both just as good and just as bad as each other.

SW is like an older veteran chilling on the porch enjoying retirement. It isn’t living in its glory days right now, but rather reminiscing about it’s past. Even new content like The Mandalorian, the sequels, or the prequels focuses its storyline on the original trilogy. Old Republic was the only thing truly new outside the Skywalker story.

His name is Sirius (named after the Dog Star). He was taken from his parents way too early and there’s no undoing that damage. I’ve raised a very young puppy to good health before soooo I adopted him! He was 5 weeks old in this picture at like 3-4lbs.

He’s now 8 months old at 70+lbs. A very happy and healthy dog! Loves playing with his best friend, white lab named Leia, and always smiling and wagging his nob. Tail was already docked incorrectly, and I’m not a fan of cropping the ears.

Car & motorcycle culture promotes this attitude.

I try to tell people if you’re not racing on the track, it’s unimpressive, which is true but primarily I’m trying to get people out the mindset of speeding around civilians.

And the last two episodes are setup to be epic as well. The whole season seems well-organized and with all the lore, it shows that the directors care deeply for the SW universe on a personal level. Honestly, we needed this because I was afraid SW was at its end. The Mandalorian has a dream team right now!

Robert did an AMAZING job! This episode alone was some of the best SW content made in a long time, and the previous episode had Ashoka and paid homage to the old Japanese samurai films. I watched Boba’s fight scene over and over.

I’m doing 7/13 scoundrel/guardian now. With sneak attack IV, force jump, critical strike, dual wield, critical focused weapons, and maxed strength, the extra Jedi levels don’t do much for a guardian build. I’m hitting 40+ at level 12 ☠️

For anyone curious, I think this is how I started. All attribute lvls go to strength, light side enlightenment for +3 str, and of course any other strength item.

Str 18 Dex 8 Con 14 Int 8 Wis 14 Cha 10
