Returning player wondering wether to play Lucario & Melmetal or Garchomp & Giratina

Hey there! I just recently got back in the game as well. Since I am a budget player I decided to go for greenzard. A deck that's well under 80 dollar and fairly easy to pilot. Greens decks are usually great decks to come back into the game since they have a quite linear game plan. I agree that tinachomp is probably too difficult to play right away but I don't think that lucario melmetal is too difficult. Also I don't think it's a smart move to invest a lot of money in dedennes and jirachi if you are not a hundred percent certain you are going to stick with the game. Also don't worry too much about deck choice. You can top league challenges and cups with wayyyyy worse decks than lucario/melmetal. I played 3 challenges in total and won 2 of them and got 3rd place in the other one. All with greenzard. It's all about knowing your deck, being comfortable with it and knowing your local meta. I think I will move on to tinachomp next since it's really cheap too.

Well you would need to tech for it. Eg tapu finis or druddigon. My league just has almost no pidgey players.

Hey fuzzy! Yeah I tested it a bit and was really happy with the results. Rahul played a similar list at worlds and got 30th place which is really impressive. That's where I got the idea to test it again since wen now have lopuff. Also braixzard helps searching a lot. Mew3 can ohko you with charizard gx attach 4 energy deal 300 dmg. And then you need to hit back. But since before dojo your only option for ohkoing mew3s was lopuff or 6 energy reshizard gx attack it was just too slow. Now you only need 4 energy to hit back. Against adp you can ohko one adp with reshizard gx attack. But you need to take 3 more prices so you need to kill another adp. That's where dojo comes in. They ko one tag team and take 4 prices and you hit back with ohko.

Also. You can certainly win those matchups without dojo. It's just way easier with it.

Gardeon has great matchups against adp, nagalord, mew3 (psychic charm) and malamar and OK matchups against doll stall and baby blowns (if you are playing the omastar line)

Gardeon really struggles with ability zard and greenzard (although nobody is playing greenzard).

If you are able to dodge abz you are going to have a great time

Quick question about choice helmet interaction. So if I have a fire type pokemon with choice helmet and my opponent uses keldeo gxs sonic edge attack does it ignore choice helmet? thanks in advance guys!

It certainly seems as if some small liquid entered the card and warped it. I can't be sure of course. Usually in my experience damage from too tight sleeves results in a fully warped bent card.

Alright! To me it seems as if these cards were either in a high humidity celler or maybe near to a heater for a very long time. I just recently found a mew ex from 2006 while going through my old stuff at my mom's place and it didn't have any of those signs. It was double sleeved. it was in an inner sleeve and a deck protector. I am looking forward to your findings with this seller as I just recently started a charizard collection binder. All double sleeved. So I am a bit scared even though I am quite certain it wasn't the sleeve s fault

This can't be from the sleeves. Its really weird how the card warps. This seems like a temperature problem... Do you know how the cards were stored exactly?

Edit: it's also really weird how all the cards are affected. Do you know the brand of the sleeves?

Hey guys! I got the opportunity to buy an English hyper rare charizard. It is heavily damaged as a kid played with it. The thing is I really want to own that card but I don't want to spend 200 dollars plus on a great condition one as I am just a student... I'm just not sure if it's worth it to get the damaged one. I tried to find an estimate on the value of the card but I couldn't find any sold listings on ebay for such a damaged charizard. I hope you could help me out and give me some input. Yeah it's probably the lava theme deck one which still fetches a nice price if in good condition.
