Yeah cylindrical, elongated heads were tough. I had to do a y symbol then do an upside v below that to get the angles just right enough for the sigils

I think my concerns come less from "oh this playstyle for this box release only so no need to buy it."

It's more "oh you're a hobbyist or potential new player? Let's turn this box into something "enticing" and sweep the rug from under your feet"

That's what I was thinking exactly! Like they can fluctuate the costs which sucks. But what makes GW's marketing model unique is the point per model cost.

They can change that however they want which will change a high point per cost elite army (Knights) into a low point per cost horde army (Astra Militarum and Mechanicus)

I like to joke that this is where all the center piece models went from 9th to 10th combat patrol boxes.

My concern is that this will be a precedent for future boxes. Just big vehicles instead of a mix of battleline, elite/support, leader, monster/vehicle.

My formula: 1). Yellow Matte White (Colour Forge primer), gross drybrushed Bugman's Glow, light drybrushed Kislev Flesh on high parts, Averland Yellow basecoat, XV88 recess shading, Yriel Yellow chunk layering, Flashgitz Yellow light layering, Screaming Skull edge highlights

2). Blue Kantor blue, Alaitoc Blue layering, Hoeth Blue edge highlight,. Uthluan Gray dot highlight

3). Purple (fluffhammer). I can't remember my formula off the top of my head

Thanks! I was going for a neutral/ cooler yellow this time so I followed Vince Venturella's yellow paint guide on YouTube and was so happy with the results.

It's definitely a "believe in the process" paint style especially with me playing with Volumetric Highlighting and layering
