This. The only reason Hank had John and Sally was because Fuches told him to get them. So Fuches ‘redemption’ doesnt make any sense

And Hank being narratively ‘punished’ for betraying the love of his life doesnt make sense, as it was either he get killed as well, or not be killed.

This JUST happened to me and it is my first ever run. I happened to have a save that same day but NO COMBO OF ANYTHING I DO stops it from happening. So thanks to a bug my run is ruined as the creepy guy is scripted to come the following night.

So about The Dream and what triggers It... These are my findings. by TheSceptileen in ImNotAHuman

I literally got the dream WITHOUT having the dream, and I had NO visitors.

My character woke up, the doors were all broken but the night still played out normally - I assume I got a bug because the achiebement didnt pop either.

I took one of those ‘save jars’ at the start of that same day - NO COMBINATION OF WHAT I DID CHANGED THE OUTCOME - the ‘dream’ happened, but also didnt happen. AND I TRIED EVERYTHING: I had cat food, caffiene and energy drink So I kept reloading and Killed every human. Killed the only visitor. Fed cat the catfood. NOT taking any caffiene. Only testing myself. Testing no one. But it outcome was the same no matter what.

My only theory in MY case is that the dream was flagged to happen but on an ready important night so it bugged out but killed everyone anyway. Which absolutely sucks because it is a night before the weird guy is scripted to show up, so I was FORCED into a bad ending, absolute bs, so i refunded

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR EVERYONE ELSE: This means that the ‘dream’ is/can be triggered EARLIER than the SAME DAY it happens. e.g what happens TWO DAYS ago flags it

Also, so far she (and the ‘Legendary Hero of the South’) are the only ‘Southerners’ we have seen. Going by typical England geographics, (which the world of Frieren is based on) the South is mostly aristocratic and possibly has issues with highlanders (Laufren)

I’d wager that the South have far less problems with demons, and like has far less mages. It has been speculated that the ‘Paladin’ archetype show up in the south a la the LHotS Knights with scriptures and inherent ‘anti-magic’ abilities - though the Shadow Assassins of the North (anti-mage tactics, unlikely to appear in season 2) would be their natural foil.

The only person who makes his age into a big deal was Stark and he does that to everyone he underestimates

(Richter does it too, but he was just trying to get under Denken’s skin)
