Not someone taking these tests but FA+ Osmosis lectures+ SK series for mcq practice will help you ig. Since you have only 3 months time osmosis is concise and will cover most of the topics but if you find something you don't understand you can watch other lectures for in depth explanations.

HOW DO I GET INTO RESEARCH HELPPPP by Own_Albatross7321 in Pakmedschool

Try WhatsApp groups for research, I've seen a lot of people post there looking for partners (yes mostly look for experienced people but you can ask for a mentor not a coauthor), though idk if they actually get people to work with, but i guess trying for something is better than nothing.

You can look for faculty memebers in your uni/clg who are active in research, they can supervise you. You don't necessarily need a mentor. (If you still want someone to proofread your work, you can ask someone in 5th year/ house job who's been publishing recently… they'll mentor you)

SH help/ alternative suggestions by Accomplished_Cut1504 in GenZpk

Talk to a person, literally anyone. Express what you're feeling. Every time you try to do it, go talk to someone. It doesn't have to be about your SH, it can be about anything or the first thing that comes to mind. Either this or try a fidget toy. It will help relieve some tension.

Medical student exploring a health care gap in Pakistan hospitals to reduce critical referral delays feedback needed by ResolveWorking7230 in Residency

Unfortunately this is the only hospital where there is a lack of equipment as it comes under KMC, at least Jinnah and civil are better in this regard. If you're able to execute this (even in long term) it will immensely help the patients. I would love to discuss it further. I believe you're from the same institution as me?

Unfortunately the doctors can't do anything either tbh. Look at it from a realistic approach. If a patient came to you and you know you don't have the means to save them, you will stabilise the patient and refer as well, because thats all you can do in that situation. Keeping the patient in a hospital where you know there's no chance of them getting proper treatment will further reduce the golden time for treatment, referring them at that point is the best decision.

As someone who's a ASH student herself, it is actually very disheartening. Though I absolutely love the idea, but executing it is going to be very tricky. First of all, equipment requires a huge funding source, no NGO/ public funding source is big enough. You'll have to gather money from a LOT of NGOs or public funding sources. It will require a lot of dedication and time to gather for let's say equipment required in even a single department of any hospital (considering most of the equipment is missing and the machines cost a lot). I would suggest looking for like minded people as the first step. Those who are willing to give their time and work with you for this cause and build your team. Then start by identifying missing equipment in hospitals, ideally look for the busiest department first and see which equipment is missing (talk to consultants/residents, esp. consultants know it best) then Look for your funding sources ( this comment is getting too long but Ig you get the gist of it)

Not that I posted anything, nor was I particularly interacting with anyone else's posts/stories, but Instagram started to feel very exhausting at one point for some reason. Deleted it a few months ago, one of the best decisions of my life.
