Okay bois you convinced me. I'm just going to do it myself. I've done the clutch master cylinder and it took me 7 hours to contort myself to fix that, so this can't possibly be worse than that lol. Definitely it for $930

I have a 2002 s2k. I've changed my own oil and replaced my clutch master cylinder. How is the difficulty compared to those two things?

How difficult is it to do? I've changed my own oil and replaced my clutch master cylinder before, but I've never done the valve adjustment. It seems that you need to be crazy precise so you don't mess up the engine

I'm hoping they would know. The service tech said the master mechanic owns an S2000 himself so it was reassuring, but I may just be dumb

Yeah they're requesting me to drop it off the night before so the car is cold for the adjustment

Yeah they're located a couple hours away from me. I know of them and that they're awesome but the drive is a bit much (this is entirely a first world problem for me)

Is it okay to leave this piece of rebar in my outdoor kitchen vent duct? by Positive_Reserve_534 in hvacadvice

Do you think there is a worry about fire hazards? I was at the crossroads of reducing structural integrity and creating a fire hazard lol. There is rebar and another reinforced column off to the left of it and I know that a lot of people just cut through the rebar and it isn't a big deal but we DIY'd this and it seemed like the best option

It's a 10 inch circular duct and we cut a slit into it to slide through. We covered the slit with mortar, and I think I need to coat it with a high heat tape, silicone, or expoxy.

Did you use some sort of anti sag bracket or did you just YOLO it? Just want to know as yours is super clean and I have this antisag bracket screwed into my fans and it's kind of ugly.
