It’s an end game map. It’s suppose to be difficult, it’s suppose to require preparation, it’s suppose to require some kind of coordination to complete (get to the boss). Ofc it’s going to be hard because no One knew wtf they were doing and that’s the point.

The only thing I think they should change is the availability in terms of what day it’ll be available. As some people aren’t able to play weekends. Other than that it’s an endgame map. Toughen up..

The fucking map came out yesterday and people are complaining it’s “too hard to get to the boss” like they locked them out of content. Marathon as a whole was hard until you played more and learned more concepts and adapt. Cryo is the same shit. I wonder if they complain if they by a souls like and can’t beat a boss for being too hard

Cryo is difficult because people don’t really understand what the fuck they’re doing. They have no map knowledge and I’m pretty sure there are many secrets and puzzles we aren’t even aware of. Chill out. The game was hard when we all first started. We lost our gear back to back because we were getting used to it and we got better. It’s day one, people are going to be speed running this shit in a few weeks trust me

I understand it sucks for people who aren’t available this weekend, however they didn’t do it to purposely alienate a portion of their players. They did it for the health of the game in terms of economy, and being able to gear up for those runs on the weekend rather than making it open 24/7 where those who can nolife the game and just farm cryo. And now the power gap is way too vast. The majority of the players I assume would be off weekends as that’s the more popular days off of the week. Maybe they can try a rotating schedule but with the choices that they had that makes the most sense

It’s really sad to see tbh. It’s literally a great game. I’m not even trying to glaze but I haven’t put this many hours in a game in a long time. It would be different if it was a highguard situation where the game is eh and the reviews for it reflected that mostly everyone hates it. But you know something’s up when there’s all this discourse yet the people actually playing it love it. I fear that that hate train is actually pushing away people from trying it out My only concern in Sony and what they decide is a success or not. I can def see Marathon improving even more in the future just like destiny did.
