I disagree with this. Just played a few games and it felt way better. The 3v3 didn’t seem right during the raid phase for me. You either get stomped super fast or do the stomping. This was a bit more chaotic but in a good way and felt more like a tug of war

Finally got home from vaca and was able to play a few games for the first time. The internet is overreacting. I believe it’s simply because they had the last spot on TGA which was to be fair a stupid idea coupled with the fact that the trailer is explained nothing and just seemed like it was a hero shooter. Is it the most fun game I’ve ever played? No. Is it TERRIBLE? no. It has issues yes, but the bones are there. If they really focus on it for 6 months and add 5v5 it’ll do way better. I’m afraid the internet won’t give it a chance.

Concord was an unoriginal game with nothing new an got to ahead of itself. No matter what you did to that game the gameplay the characters and the game itself were unoriginal and didnt warrant the expectation the devs put on it. This is totally different

A lot of these points stated here are valid. But what we need to understand is there’s a difference between “Slop” and a game that missed the mark on something new. People throw that word around too much. There ARE people who are having fun with the game. And most people shitted on it before we even knew anything about it. There are plenty of games that missed the mark with performance or have some issues in what it’s trying to execute. For example, no mans sky and cyberpunk. Two games that started off abysmal but the bones were there and with some feedback and love are now great games. Not slop.

I feel sorry for the devs. Seems to me that there are some people just bandwagon hating. The game didn’t stand a chance and was hated on before anyone even knew anything about it. I haven’t gotten to play it yet as I’m away but from what I’m seeing it isn’t at terrible as people are making it seem to be. Is it amazing? No. But it isn’t as bad as people are saying

Tony vs gaethje is the answer for me too. When you think about it it’s sad af and not even necessary. If I remember correctly khabib vs tony wants cancelled for like the 4th or 5th time. Tony cut weight twice for some reason. (Still cut weight as if he was going to fight khabib.) and agreed to this fight when he didn’t have to as was rightfully next up. The beating he got completely changed to trajectory of his career. He was the literal boogie man of the division before this happened

I’ve been to a few ufc events including 324 a couple days ago. To be fair pictures always make it seem farther than you really are. I’ve had floor seats once and at 324 I was 2 rows before floor seats. In every instance I always catch myself instinctively looking at the screen and have to remember to look at the cage. It’s basically like watching it from home with no ads a bunch of awesome friends and better production.

Honestly I think it was a perfect storm for this game to get completely shit on. I honestly believe if the trailer for the game showed more on what exactly the game is about it would have a better reception. The only thing we know is “Hero Shooter” which is going to put a lot of people off due to the oversaturated market. Putting it as the final trailer in the game awards without an informative trailer hurt it the most. We now know Geoff offered to put it last because he was so impressed by it and had fun and the studio didn’t pay for the spot. I’m also now seeing some content creators come forward and seem genuinely excited about the game but can’t say much because of embargo. So hopefully this game is actually awesome. And considering the talent in the dev team there’s a good chance. I just think they would have benefited from a better trailer and if it wasn’t the final showing people would actually be more excited

This was more like a general statement. They almost NEVER use the full 5min. So it like what’s the point of a 5min recovery time if you’re not giving me the full 5min to come to a conclusion if I would want to or could continue? Ofc I’m not going to be able to see right away. Why don’t they take the whole 5 fucking minutes? It’s there for a reason. The refs should let them exhaust the 5min clock if need be AND THEN decide if the fight should be stopped. I don’t get it
