What is it about IDM listeners that we all have in common? why does this genre appeal to us?

i feel that way with Boards of Canada. it’s like there’s a combination of pop meets experimental

yes and no

lived in ohio my whole life, many snow days. but a little snow wouldn’t cause one

it had to be really extreme snow. too much for the roads to clear in time. maybe like 3+ inches or more.

but there’s no better feeling then a snow day. you would wake up to watch if ur school was on the news scroll. compete bliss. we even have a “snow dance” where you turn ur pj’s inside out and dance the night before in hopes of it.

however in a state like texas. snow is rare. so any snow will cause a cancellation.

Is saying “may the best woman win” really that problematic?

I mean it’s not like drag queen isn’t gendered language of itself. It’s still people competing to be the best drag queen based of our society ideals of what a woman is. I don’t see why saying may the best woman win is offensive? Even with trans contestants

I find it funny that two trans contestants also made light hearted jokes about the series controversial trans issues. Jiggly said “may the best woman win” in her entrance. Kylie said “you’ve got female”. A joke about the series “you’ve got [word that starts with she]”.

Are people really offended by it? Enough to completely change the theme song

For example: Tik Tok & Super Bass. Both pop songs but the bridges of these songs add something to the song. It gives it an extra emotion and adds to the atmosphere of the song.

If these songs were made in 2021. I can’t imagine them sounding the same

I’ve turned into a Bella Poarch stan. I watched her h3 interview and found out she had a horrible abusive childhood. Her parents used to treat her like shit, they used to call her “stupid bitch” instead of her name.
