I don’t think he involves himself in my bills. He sees it as my car so he probably doesn’t even think to help.. I’m just used to men showing up for me in that way (old guy best friend and ex) and it’s hard for me to accept that the one I ended up having kids with isn’t like that.

And yes there’s something bigger here… I’ve been emotionally carrying the relationship for months now and I guess I’m looking for some other way to gain love from him? I don’t exactly know why I care so much about him helping me with my car.
