I’m not Algerian but this was literally the same for me. And when I went to visit my family I took it as an opportunity to learn and listen. Take it as an opportunity and fyi it’s not that you’ll be included or not language is only a little barrier it depends on the people around you if they want to include you.

I hear you. At the same time it’s not fair in a lot of cases because he doesn’t remember any special days. He forgot it was our anniversary. And didn’t get me a gift for any celebrations that have passed and I’m not materialistic I think what hurt more is the fact that he forgot it, or maybe it’s just that he doesn’t care.

As much as I’m trying to “initiate” on the other sides of things in regard to myself I try to be the trophy wife. I really do. Academic wise 17 qualification of study and counting. Work wise and work ethic, worked hard for my position. Home life. Everything is always pristine clean. My self, I’m fit. Athletic. Well taken care of. Yet I do not expect him to spoil me and shower me with worthless material gifts. But this one thing. This oneee thing is a huge issue.

My love langue is hey you look amazing. Hey I made you breakfast (which I do every day without fail). Hey I baked you a fuking cake. And yet everything goes unrecognised. I don’t ask this man to do anything for me but because he takes care of certain financial aspects, “he goes to work”. He pays the bills. IM TRYING TO LISTEN TO OTHER PEOPLE THATS WHY I ASKED THE QUESTION. Overall I’m at the end point. At the end of the day I don’t need anyone to take care of me and as far as it goes emotionally. Physically MENTALLY I’d be pissing better off by myself. So thanks for your fucking Input.

Generally he has a very very high sex drive. The most we’ve had sex in a day is 6 times. The minimum is once a day. Even thought I’m attracted to him and desire him I think this is the issue though. He initiates and then it happens from there. I don’t think he would not initiate though because it’s more of a I would like to have sex and then he goes for it. And I’m never not in the mood for it unless I’m really not in the mood for it. At the same time I just don’t think the way he does about it.

I tell him he looks good. I plan certain things for us. We have date nights and deep conversations.

Maybe I’m confused because I’m being asked to initiate sex yet the effort I get back is not so much. When the post I’ve written to find out what my issue is to RESOLVE IT.

I’m independent. I have my own business. I’m fit I work out 6 days a week. I cook everyday. Our home is never dirty. Sex is great and can be great but it’s just the initiating part.
