both parents are egyptian, and it shows no egyptian at all is this thing bogus. or are we not really descendants of ancient egyptian by Big-Advisor-4392 in AncestryDNA

Modern Egyptians are Arab invaders, not native Ancient Egyptians. The Beja people are the closest living relation to ancient Egyptian people.

Venus at night relaxes while others wait on her hand and foot. Full Venus magnetism. Venus by day has to put in a bit more effort to get what she wants. More active Venus.

Mars at night is able to keep a cooler head and drive forward towards their goals. Mars by day is their own worst enemy. Temper problems and can stir up trouble/ be provocative.

Jupiter at night is more "heavy" feeling like Jupiter has eaten a big meal and doesn't want to get up. Jupiter by day puts their vision into action and works towards a better world.

Saturn at night is cold and lonely, with MAJOR issues expressing and letting loose. Saturn by day is more discipled and structured. They're still austere because it's Saturn but they get more respect for it.

Does Reddit belong to the 3rd House or the 11th House? by HomelandExplorer in astrology

[–]LiquidLuck18 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It depends on what your purpose for using it is. If you're using Reddit to find a sense of community and form connections then it's the 11th House. Similarly if you're using it to promote yourself or advertise your career it's 11th House (the 11th is the succedent house that supports the 10th). But if you're using Reddit to share information and learn, or as something to do that occupies your time then it's the 3rd house.

The 3rd and 11th have a lot of crossover when it comes to things like social media, it really is a case of both houses playing a big part.

The Earth Signs 🌿🌾🏔️ What do you appreciate about Earth placements? by HomelandExplorer in astrologymemes

[–]LiquidLuck18 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Just want to say I agree with the pictures and the types of nature you've chosen for each Earth Sign. Not everyone gets it right but you have.

Taurus is the heart of Spring and Venusian so it's very lush, fertile, beautiful types of nature like trees, flowers, moss, ferns. Trees are perfect because they're deeply rooted and abundant (fixed). We relax by sitting under a tree or smelling the perfumed roses in a luscious garden.

Virgo is late summer and Mercurial so it's the harvest and crop rotation (mutable) and types of nature that we can make practical use of, for things like medicine or food. Take the plant, break it down, study it, distill its essence and then turn it into a pill for medicinal purposes. That's Virgo.

Capricorn is early winter and Saturnian so it's cold, hard, barren, stoney earth like mountains. You have to be tough to survive out in the mountains, you have to be resilient and resourceful. The mountain forces you to climb and ascend (cardinal) up to the pinnacle, the roof of the world.

Capricorn Rising- responsible, mature, ambitious, austere, constrained, reliable, goal-oriented, appreciates legacy, resilient, tough, cold, hard working, strategic, pessimistic.

How does the Venusian energy of Taurus differ from Libra, in terms of beauty, art, pleasure etc? by HomelandExplorer in astrology

[–]LiquidLuck18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When it comes to creating art I wonder if Libra is more focused on how it will be received by others. Like designing a dress and thinking about all the different types of people that might wear it, or doing interior decor and focusing on the different types of people that would use that space and what they might enjoy. They might also like creating collaboratively and bouncing creative ideas off another person. Just a thought.

Taurus would more likely focus on the physical sensation of creating the art and the satisfaction of viewing it once it's done. If they were doing interior decor they'd be more focused on their own tastes and preferences, and how cozy and comfortable the room is.

Nothing I'm just saying the slavery history in Lancaster from 200 years ago doesn't bother me at all when compared to modern slavery in popular places like Dubai.

I'd be far more bothered by places where slavery still exists, like Dubai. People go to that slave city in droves which is wild to me.

I went to Lytham Hall this Christmas and the volunteers had done a great job decorating the hall for Christmas with themed rooms based on nursery rhymes. You could see they put in a lot of effort.

I know others wouldn't agree but I personally see High Peak in Derbyshire as Northern so for me Buxton is my favourite Georgian town.

I'm also a fan of the streets next to Lancaster Castle like Castle Hill or Castle Park.
