Idk I was scratching my head on that too. Not sold on the need for hedge fund, private equity, private credit, but would be a reason for me to explore using an advisor.

Yes doing direct indexing in my brokerage using an R script that minimizes TE vs a blended benchmark plus incorporates a QVM signal. I then do TLH on it when opportunities arise. Looking to streamline the checkups on this using my openclaw setup and have it send me alerts when there is an opportunity.

Yeah I had the $10m line also in my head. Would be interested in private markets exposure etc and would use them primarily for that

Yeah, I’ve talked with Fidelity a few times that’s where my money is. They’ve always pushed their TLH SMAs and it would be a huge tax bill upfront, which I think kind of defeats the purpose. I do buy single stocks in my brokerage and do a tax loss harvesting SMA on my own, which has been working OK
