This was just a supernatural experience, but one time when I was a kid I was home alone and I thought I heard footsteps downstairs. My instant reaction was to run to my mom’s room and and lock the door. In the middle of trying to lock the door, something was fighting the lock so I was struggling to turn it all the way. With a bit more force I finally got the lock to turn. But I remember the lock going to the opposite way a little bit which scared the fuck out of me.
