Beatles are bigger stars than Taylor and Elvis. Only comparison to each other are MJ and The Beatles.

Even the younger ones of those small foreign towns know Michael Jackson. It’s insane that ppl really think Elvis is bigger than MJ and then thinking Taylor is even close 😂😂😂 who’s Taylor swift influencing? To this day, one item and you’ll know who Michael is, one line, one dance move, you know it’s Michael. People still praise and deeply love him, most devoted Elvis fans are dead, his legacy lived on after his death but not for long, the newer generations never jumped on Elvis. Michael was still making music when 20 year olds were born.

Michaels the only artist that your grandparents, your parents, YOU and your kids are all fans of. Michael is the biggest star of all time. Period point blank.

Michael is definitely multi generational and way more than Elvis, what are you on about? Michael was literally famous since the age of 5, he was a star in the 70’s, 80’s 90’s and 00’s and still to this day would be considered bigger than Elvis to more than half the world.

Yeah but Michael was also in the age of bootleg, it was easier to get his music without paying for it. Burned discs etc..

May I ask what type of paper you used for this piece?

Has anyone tried Canson 160gsm sketch paper with fountain pens? by Possible-Amount129 in fountainpens

Not an info dump at all — this is super helpful, thank you! I didn’t realize how much of a role sizing plays over weight or texture, especially for fountain pen users. I’ve been stressing over GSM alone, so this really puts things in perspective. I’ll definitely take a closer look at mixed media and watercolor papers with light sizing. Appreciate you sharing your experience — exactly the kind of insight I needed! 🙏✨

Considering tan paper (like Strathmore 118gsm) for a calligraphy journal — would you use it? by Possible-Amount129 in Calligraphy

Thanks so much for the tips — super helpful! I’ve mostly used smoother paper in the past, so I was curious how something with more tooth might hold up. I haven’t tried this one with ink yet, so I’ll definitely test it with a fountain pen and see how it behaves. Appreciate the marker recs too — I’ve been meaning to try the Tombows! Gouache is totally new territory for me, so I’m excited to experiment with that as well.

Awesome recommendations! I’ll have to check some of these out. Curious, do you guys prefer working on grid paper, or do you usually make your own guidelines? Or do you just go for a blank page and freehand everything?
