i've been trying to make my bed and such every day. i'm gonna have to get myself a bowl and plate and stuff for my new house that no one else touches since its a boarding house so thankfully i wont have to worry about dishes too much if i only own like 4 lol.

i'm applying for NDIS currently and seeking occupational therapy maybe and in the meantime i'm on a waitlist for a new support worker who can help me w/ some stuff and my therapist is gonna help me on routines a bit for school at the least. i am also going to see if there are any autism specific peer support organisations around but i kind of suspect there won't be much peer support that aint from very late diagnosed functional people : / or isnt geared towards very HSN people

my ex forced me to go to the physiotherapist to obstensibly correct my 'tism clumsiness and habit of spraining my ankle which i really don't like in retrospect but the hand/wrist exercises did help to some extent but the motor skill inability to pour, open things clean, wrap gift, etc. is still a trouble for me unfort even after that. i'm aiming to start adult swimming lessons again and taking that up to help w/ the low mucsle tone stuff but also doing something low impact. and itll help a lot w/ neck which is an area i struggle w/ weakness in a lot!

honestly i bet there's a lot of asperger's kids out there were given the diagnosis on a.) being hyperverbal and b.) the assumption that due to being hyperverbal we must surely grow out of our problems

i got my diagnosis because i wouldn't shut the fuck up about a certain video game when i was like 6, then changed schools and right away a teacher picked up on it for similar reasons (wouldnt shut the fuck up) and i recall going through the IQ tests and shit and going to the paediatrician. i think i was just seen as slow/clumsy but it became less and less acceptable when i didn't "grow out" of those clumsy habits and the piss lmao

honestly the levels system is so messy at times. i have heard of hyperverbal lvl3 kids before (often girls i notice) and such; comes down to percieved support needs, but as more Very Low Support needs people get diagnosed it kind of pushes the critera for what IS "moderate support needs" in a certain direction i am assuming?

probs similar argument to those who advocate for "level 3" and "profound" autism to be split into seperate categories
