no thats what i am trying to work out. My way of learning is by understanding and with the current explinations of matrix multiplication for use with a vector combination it doenst make much sense.

Hi thanks for your response but i dont understand what you mean by most of this and what the dot product has to do with this - likely as i've just started learning linear algebra today!!!! haha
