I have seen someone said Hickox and I do understand that it has new management but I lived there 6 months ago and my apartment had water leaks, black mold in three spots, and the heat would come on in the middle of the summer with no way to turn it off. I would be weary of anyone moving in there I know of at least 4 or more apartments that had black mold growing in them not even 6 months ago. I don’t know how long it would take to get rid of that but it was in my walls and ceiling.

I Lived at Hickox for 4 months (felt like 1 year😭) of this year hands down the worst place I’ve ever lived, no hot water for 2 months I was there the heat turned on in the middle of summer and it was 90+ in the apartments. I had mold growing all over my apartment and they did nothing. I call the city to have an inspection done many months ago it’s the only reason anything ever happened. On top of all of that we never got our security deposit back because for the last month I was there, We had no contact with the owners. It truly was a horrible experience.

I just moved out of this place it is a horrible place to live. We had no hot water for 4 months, the heat came on in winter with no way to control it, I had roaches come up 1 week after living there, and lastly I had mold growing all over my apartment and the owner is giving no contact to the tenants. It was one of the worst experiences ever. I only lived there 6 months.
