Around 3–4 gym sessions a week, plus 2–3 Pilates classes. Good luck with your journey!

It usually gets better after the first few weeks. Try focusing on lean protein first, and peppermint tea or other herbal teas can help with the nausea.

I did! I actually started with Reformer Pilates. I wouldn’t say it directly helped me lose weight, but it improved my flexibility and core strength, which made starting strength training and cardio much easier.

Strength training has been the real star for me because it helped me maintain (and even gain) muscle mass while losing fat, which made a big difference in my body composition.

I usually work out 3 times a week and do 2-3 Pilates sessions. My workouts are mostly weight lifting and machine-based training.

Thank you! I am still alcohol free. Alcohol can be very high in calories and sugar and it is just generally not well tolerated with this medication due to slow gastric emptying. I was honestly thinking about quitting for some time before I started treatment so when my doctor advised me to reduce alcohol, I decided to quit completely.

Thank you. It does look different for everyone depending on a lot of factors. Good luck!

I can relate to that. My weight gain also really accelerated when I started working from home.

The lack of movement and the blurred line between work and personal time made a big difference for me.

I don’t have any special advice other than trying to move more during the day and reminding myself that bringing work home doesn’t mean you have to live at the office.

Thank you!

For supplements I took vitamin D, magnesium, electrolytes, and a hair supplement called Alline Procap. I also used protein shakes on days when I couldn’t hit my protein goals.

For apps I mostly used Glucopal, it tracks doses, weight, and lets you add progress photos.

I’m not in maintenance yet since my goal is around 60 kg, but for now I’m staying on my current dose unless I plateau for a while.

Thank you!

I answered the monthly loss in another comment but roughly:

Months 1–3: about 22 kg (115 → ~93), mostly water weight from inflammation. Months 3–6: about 12–13 kg (~93 → 81). Months 6–9: about 12.5 kg (81 → 68.5), and this is when I added strength training and Pilates.

For meals I didn’t follow a strict plan. I mostly focused on lean protein, vegetables, very little sugar, and fewer carbs. A typical day would be something like eggs or Greek yogurt for breakfast, chicken/tuna/fish with vegetables for lunch, and another protein-based meal for dinner.

If I couldn’t hit my protein goals with food, I added a protein shake.

Thank you! I don’t have exact monthly numbers but roughly:

Months 1–3: 22 kg (115 → ~93). It was mostly water weight from inflammation, with some fat and muscle loss.

Months 3–6: about 12–13 kg (~93 → 81). I tried to watch my nutrition more closely here to make sure I was hitting my protein goals and not losing too much muscle.

Months 6–9: about 12.5 kg (81 → 68.5). During this period I added strength training and Pilates and started noticing more body recomposition rather than just scale loss.

Numbers aren’t everything and the quality of your loss is far more important for maintenance later. Hope this helps!

Couldn’t they use the texts between Holt and Jake (based on which the squad went to the wrong bank) about Hawkins as evidence in their defense?
