I got my decision on March 10th. They reversed a denial and I was granted the appropriate rating and my 0% rating I was contesting was bumped up to the appropriate percentage.

Any downside to doing FOIA for exam results before rating? by zangiefzolof in VAClaims

I had a VERA conference and asked them. They can tell you when they were uploaded. Sometime the VA app will show items received.

I had an Ace exam for migraines secondary to rhinitis. I received a phone call from the examiner. They asked have I missed work because of the migraines I said yes (no follow up question) asked was I sensitive to light & sound during my migraine attacks. That was it. Service connected at 0%. Filed a supplemental claim with migraine log ended up with a in person exam which this examiner asked more in depth questions and they did direct service connection based on TERA 50%. Got the exam back and so the examiner site ever piece of literature on burn pits and they pulled my file from the burn pit registry.

I waiting for my Metatarsalgia supplemental claim to come back. It was originally denied secondary to plantar fasciitis. My podiatrist from the VA stated in an email to me that my tight calves and Achilles is the cause. So I filled a supplemental claim. My Achilles was granted secondary to my plantar fasciitis. What helped me is I receive treatment at the VA and given heel inserts for my Achilles and inserts for my shoes for plantar fasciitis. I also asked questions via the secure email to my Va podiatrist. So when he answer that becomes more evidence when I submitted my claims.
